Many as you call us(fyromians) have greek herritage, the mindset has been changed over the years, same as adding the SKI to our last names by the communists and tito. Places like strumitsa, gevgelija, bitola(monastiri) with pelagonia historically belong to greece and greek macedonia, i dont understand how could greece let this 3 regions go just like that even after ww1 and ww2.

You're right man. We on the Greek side consider that southern part of FYROM as true Macedonian (Greek) too. We mostly just have a problem with Skopje existing, historically that was NEVER in Macedonia and they're all Bulgarian and Serbian, yet they parade about claiming the history and claiming to be "descendants of Alexander". 🤦‍♂️ If you look at the shape of the Greek boarder, on the right side it's like a straight line and then it goes down - When making the boarders that line should've continued going straight across through today-FYROM. I'm confident that this dispute only exists because the boarder is in the wrong place to begin with which gave Skopje's the idea to claim Macedonia as theirs since technically they could since some if it was in their territory. Otherwise it would never have been allowed Historically even as recent as 300 years ago, 200 years ago, Skopje was never part of it. FYROM cut in half was all considered part of Macedonia, Greece. Just look at the atlas maps from then. That's why my avatar on here is half blue and half red. The red represents the part of FYROM with our brothers who are split from us. Greece should've never allowed it to be given up to Vardar/Serbia and then Yugoslavia after the Balkan wars. It's great to see a Macedonian from the FYROM side who knows the truth/history, and knows that they have Greek heritage. A lot always flat out deny it and have a crazy thought that Macedonia was never Greek. lol Respect to you.

Thanks filos....Skopje is a new city....with no history whatsoever, built mostly after the earthquake 1963.....in history and ottoman times are mostly common mentioned names thessaloniki, monastiri (bitola) adrianopolis.....the fact is, i can send you a video in english and greek where it tributes the region of Moriovo (Μοριχοβο, my grandfather and father are from there), greece was forced to give it to serbia in order to gain the teritories around florina, it was basically exchange of terotories, so from 1918 to 1941 the people are ”serb-asimilated”, then 2-3 years they are under bulgarian ocupation, and as we all know, bulgarians had always aspiration for fyrom teritory, they set up schools telling them they are bulgarian. I know becouse my grandfater learned only 1st grade school in village of polchiste (πολσιστα in greek) and from 1944-1945 when the communist party is formed, tito adds ski to last names, forms the modern fyrom language in 1946 known today as ”macedonian” in other words creating a fake macedonian identity other then greek, with aspirations to spread yugoslavia down to aegean sea. Its sad how some fyrom people cant open their eyes and see their true herritage from where it comes from, instead they belive a typical bulgarian and also communist propaganda of a ”vardar pirin egej” macedonia, which never ever existed. Σκοπια has never been and never will belong to the ancient borders of makedonia. Everyone who is history wise knows that up there and Kumanovo are paonia/dardania.
