If the vocals are processed it's likely because this is a performance that was put on their concert dvd for that tour. Vocals on concert dvds tend to be a little more "cleaned up" than they were in person.

The selling of the DVD is why I think they used backtrack more with this stage too. You won't get Win sounding like the studio version without the added autotune and vocal effects.

THEO’S MOM! 🫶🩶🏴‍☠️. You rock and I don’t even know you 😎 I think that because this was the opening song, they had the backing track higher. There are some heavier choreographed songs that some of the hardest performers seem to be overtaken by the backing track. Usually, they won’t even bother lip syncing those parts. They are admittedly awful at lip syncing. Since you’re doing some live stuff… Take Me Home! The live stage with the mirrors. That is one of my top Ateez songs… along with Cyberpunk. I like the synth wave songs.

It's not playback, it's not loud backing track, but it's the audio perfected for the dvd. Maybe only the choreo is playback

This was their First Ever Concert back in Feb 2020 They only did Seoul Part of Tour because rest of Tour was cancelled due to CoVid 1st Global Pandemics They were still rookies

This song was used in different Olympic games, baseball etc. It is very much an anthem type song. Win(studio) has a lot of auto tune and vocal effects but the members are singing live here. I hear when the backtrack pops in and drops out. You can also see Ateez mouths closed on certain backtrack parts. So why is this different? I think 100% it's because this Seoul concert was turned into a dvd and sold by Kq. Using the track gave them a close studio version . If you watch current Win stages, the autotune is on Mingi thus the song does not sound like the studio version because they didn't provide the autotune on other members. It still sounds good but different. On a few stages, they did bring in the autotune backtrack on the hook. They also gave Mingi autotune on some live stages on songs that didn't even have autotune. I prefer Mingi's gravelly, deep voice. You can also tell when Edenary gets on a producing binge. Some later Ateez songs have a lot of auto tune and I think it's why we don't get some live because it won't sound like the studio version. I don't ever tell Eden how to make music but I am waiting for the day he decides he's out of his autotune phase.

Ateez will not come on tour amd not sing live the fact that it's in Korea would explain why thr audio is louder than they are there be moments where they take a quick breath like a second even the rappers do that. Jonghos everything on there new tour doesn't even have a backing track

Actually all of them sing live and not the audio, they have very stable vocals bc of their training ect. they to for it Like running, jumping while singing, they explained it and even showed it
