Dude this doesn't even go into the struggles they faced. When they started out, all 7 were sharing a single bedroom. And that is just the tip of the iceberg. Hell, Suga just had to have surgery because of a shoulder injury he received after being hit by a car. This was at the beginning of the band's time together and he was so afraid of being cut from the team that he hid it from BigHit and everyone. If there is one group in this world that deserves international acclaim after fighting tooth-and-nail to get ahead, it is BTS.

Let me give you advice: don’t delve into the storyline or solo videos until you’ve watched all the biggest group MVs. The storyline is big and can be confusing, and it’s a lot easier to catch details and such when you’ve seen all the videos to make connections. Their solo songs are amazing, but can be held easily until after you do all the group MVs. Fun facts: Spring Day has NEVER LEFT the South Korean charts since 2017. BTS nearly disbanded in 2018. Their song written by JK called Your Eyes Tell is the song for a movie soundtrack. It’s a gorgeous song.

not to mention jimin is trained in several schools of martial arts. he uses all of his expertise and passion to his advantage. i have all the same interests as him, but it's just too bad i never got to explore dancing or further my martial arts training, so i admire him a lot for his versality. i never understand why some stans (not just ARMYs) get salty when someone is in awe of one or a few out of the whole group. just means they probably relate more to them in some way.

"Not only their great vocals, their great dances, visuals and everything. It has to do with their personality as well." You couldn't have been more right. A lot of people complain, wonder why BTS out of all k-pop groups came out on top, they compare their faves being better at singing, dancing or rapping but yet BTS is thriving having the biggest fandom on the planet. BTS may not be the best in any of those but they all have pure hearts of a performer. They're not afraid to show their personalities and their true selves in public, outshining others and encouraging them to do the same but their personalities show us that if you're worried abt your talent, always remember that hardwork beats talent when talent doesn't work hard, WWH Jin, rapper Suga and rapper RM weren't talented dancers, but they had to work extremely hard to keep up with the dance line and were not afraid to show us the hardships they had to go through, because they know they're not perfect and it's okay not to be, because no one is. That's some of the things BTS have always been doing, pushing the envelope, staying humble and being real to anyone who crosses paths with them.

(Sorry for this long ass comment. Please feel free to ignore😊) I think this is the best, and best-edited, introduction video to start with. If you want to know more, any of the ones from xCeleste are quite good. And I think the show made the right move not casting JK. He was too shy to be interesting on a reality-type show. It was much better for everyone that he went right to being a trainee. He's still super shy a lot of the time. Especially if he's not with the other members. There's a video of BTS reacting to their first performance and they are all cringing so hard! 🤣 Except V. He's just vibing with songs. Someone told me that they have released over 300 songs when you count everything in their mixtapes, Soundcloud, etc. I haven't actually counted but I do have almost 100 favorites on my Tidal playlist. I personally haven’t seen this video until I watched it with you and I have to say I’m very impressed by the information provided about them individually in the beginning. I think the only issue I have with it is how discography and chart based it was as that was never really the biggest focus they had when making their music. I even felt a bit detached while watching(although it was honestly really well put together, props to him for making it!:). Also, Dynamite was not made with the intention of trying to get the top spot on the charts. The boys just liked the demo given to them in english and they decided to not translate it bc it just sounded nice the way it was. The song was meant bring hope to people during these difficult times and it just kinda ended up being a banger and VERY radio friendly:) I found it really nice how you were already feeling a connection with them considering the video doesn’t completely show just how much of a passion they have for making music, staying close to their roots, and caring so much for the people who support them(again, this video was still really good:) If anything, I would suggest: -“Who is BTS” by SUGA & spice(keep in mind, this is pretty outdated and doesn’t really touch on all of the true qualities that makes each of them special, especially Jin**) -“BTS from nobodies to legends 2019”by xceleste(there is a 2018 version but 2019 sums it up pretty well, a lot of the same info) -**THIS IS BTS| Introduction to BTS [Part 1] by xceleste(LOVE this one and is the most recent) Lastly, I’d also like to thank you for addressing the fandom in such a better light. There really are shitty ass people everywhere and I think the bigger the fandom grows so can bad people. I hope you see how great we all are as genuine people loving music and loving eachother. Most armys who I’ve seen get interviewed when asking the question, “Why do you like BTS?” get really emotional not because of the lusty nature stereotyped with boy bands but bc of how much of an impact they have made on their lives(not to sound sappy but it’s honestly true). The reason why that is “moderate success” is because that most of the money goes to the business like JYP, CUBE, BIGHIT, because obviously they themselves need to make a profit to stay a company. Adding to that there are usually 5+ members and BTS having 7 they then have to split the money they are given after the company takes their portion. So what may seem a lot for a soloist or someone in America isn’t much in KPOP. Many groups tend to not get much money at all and are in strict money budgets sadly. You have to be one of the top kpop to really get a lot of money

I once read in article that in Bighit they split the money like this: 50% for company (think about all the staffs + the manager himself + mv expenses + the tours + the building itself cost it looks hella expensive) 50% (divided by 7) for BTS I think they made it 50/50 because at first the company has only one support now it got two (or maybe 4 do the two other count?) You hit the nail on the head. There are toxic people in every walk of life. The majority of Army are nice people, who just want BTS to be recognised for their artistry, sadly though, it's always the toxic people who are the loudest and give Army a bad name. But as soon as people take the time to actually delve deeper they see that we are mostly super chill. Don't worry about your reactions, they are great, and it's obvious you have a genuine interest in the guys. There will always be haters, regardless of what you do, just ignore them :)

Ignore the negative people. There are some that say they are ARMY when they aren't. Most of us are happy that you are interested in learning more about the amazing men who make up BTS. You don't know what you don't know so be sure to ask us questions. All reactors get negative folks being mean to them. You have to have thick skin and let it roll off of you. Keep up the reactions😀!

I really appreciate your sincere reaction. don’t worry about saying something wrong and just say what you think. No need to walk on eggshells because of a few over sensitive ARMYs. The rest of ARMY’s got your back. My other favorite documentary is Who is BTS. The seven members of Bangtan. It was after watching that I learned to tell their faces and voices apart. But anything by xceleste is also excellent. BTS also has a reality series on KZbin called Run BTS. Which is where they get together to play games and do challenges. But what they actually do is cheat and make fun of each other for 25 minutes it’s hella funny. At last count there were 118 episodes, although 119 might have already dropped by the time you read this.

as far as I know some info here isn't quite accurate, like creating the group was a little different. as far as I know, there was supposed to be a hip-hop group, when the company changed their mind, some of them decided to quit, some stayed in bighit as producers and then the vocalists joined. also, V was the last member announced, he was like "hidden" and for a long time there wasn't anything about him being in the group, even after other members were already together. we still don't know why wasn't he anywhere around all this time 🤷🏼‍♀️. but it's still good. if u'd like some more videos like a really good introduction from a different angle, like many many things that weren't included here, their background, hardships etc, xceleste is one of the best channels to go. also, for more details about all the members and their personalities, I've seen people recommending who is bts and I agree, it's kind of outdated but still good. i really like your reactions so far and I hope you'll enjoy this bts journey! ♥️ please correct me if I am wrong about anything tho

I agree to this! Actually a producer from Bighit Entertainment watched one of RM's performances and got impressed. This producer referred RM to Bang PD and got impressed as well so they contacted him immediately. Bang PD said he has never seen a person who's wise and witty as RM considering he was very young. RM was like super young genius (148 IQ) guy who is popular in underground korean hiphop scene. That's the correction. hehehe keep reacting to BTS please! You won't regret. About the toxic people on twitter, honestly I am scared as well sometimes of other "armys". What I do however is to simply avoid as much as possible sources of such toxicity (stan twitter haha) and my twitter is pretty much full of positivity now ^^ And well, as you said, there's toxicity everywhere and the stuff you see around is mainly the loud minority while the majority of the fandom is amazing and one of the most positive I've ever approached in my life, I hope you'll also come to see the same positive influence I see💜

We always discover these amazing 7 members at the right moment when we need them the most..i've been into k pop since 2012 but i've never had any favourite until i found BTS on March this year when covid starts to puts a hold to the world..i've known them since 2013 but never gave any attentions to their songs..but now they are my no. 1 favourite artist and idol group. Their songs are the type of songs i' ve been looking for.. full of wonderful massages about life that can relate to all of us..and i'm proud of them.Also i don't have bias coz i love all 7 members...😊💜💜💜💜💜💜💜
