Actually there are four Chypers by the rap line... The Busan Concert was one day before BTS announcememt for their mandatory military service and the goverment couldn't decide for years if BTS should get an exception. So BTS made a decision and told them 'you can't controll my shit'. BTS got a lot of hate by the k-media because of the discussion even though they always said they would serve if convened. BTS doing this chyper in front of the whole country/ world was such a power move.

Yes, it was BTS saying they have had enough of the Korean Government holding out on their Military exemptions and making choices for them and that they were making their own decisions from this moment on, Namjoon, Hobi & Yoongi all changed some lyrics in some of their songs on this night to give more or less the middle finger to the Korean Government who were actually hosting the Busan Expo Concert. They stated that this is the last time they were going to perform Ugh & Cyphers Live at a Concert and they killed it.

Yes, the rappers write their own verses. That's why their names are credited as songwriters in most BTS songs. RM also often writes for the vocalists' parts or the vocalists' songs, which is why he has more credits than Suga or J-hope.

Yes, never sleep on J-Hope as a rapper. He has a unique flow that I’ve never heard from any other rapper. Maybe because he was (and still is) a hip hop dancer, he can ride the beat as if he’s dancing.

Just remember you are watching content spanning 10 years. Their Cyphers came out in their early days when BTS was receiving lots of backlash so this is a clap back. Obviously things have moved on a bit in the last 8-9 years! Love your reactions, can't wait for more! And you also have the rappers solos to dig into as well as their BTS tracks. Yess, they have 4 Cyphers. Thankyou for reacting to this. We love the rap line. Fun fact: it has been a while since they sang the Cyphers, cause they didn´t need to. I think this was straight to the politicians who were trying to manipulate BTS with the mandatory service stuff (promising excemptions) even if the boys always wanted to fulfill their duty as every other Korean citizen.

Suga wrote this a long time ago but they finally did it live. They're are all amazing rappers, singers, songwriters, producers, dancers and you name it. You'll find that the subs are different among the different translators but are essentially the same. Some kind of water them down as this is a rather risque dis rap. They started out as underground rappers. And when they started in BTS they got a lot of flack from the rap world as well as BTS getting a lot of negativity from the pop world as they started out hip hop. So, they want the idiots of the past to know they've made it to the top. There are 4 cyphers. You asked about how they rhyme. As you know RM is fluent in English but Suga knows more than he cares to admit. Historically Korean groups will put in English words when there isn't a Korean word that yould make sense there or sound right. These guys can do a lot more because of the English skills of several of them and their writing ability.

So for me I say I’m OT7 which means I Stan all seven members… but in the beginning I had multiple biases from each line…. In the vocal line in the beginning it was JK and in the rapper line my bias is Jhope. In the dance line my bias is Jimin… but my wreckers would change depending on the song/performance of said song sometimes it was V Other times it was Jin or Jimin or RM or Suga… that’s why I say I’m ot7!
