i believe the stacked vocals are a mixture between nicole (patd's bassist) and mike's (patd's guitarist) voices. B usually has his bandmates sing these types of vocals in the studio versions which i really like because it sounds even better when he performs the songs live. there's a similar example of that in their song Miss Jackson where the stacked vocals were sang by Dallon (the bassist at the time). i loved your reaction, you're great and brings a lot of interesting knowledge as usual 💞

Hey, Joey, thanks for covering this one. I really got a lot out of your technical analysis, really have a much better appreciation for the musical craftsmanship that underpin the incredible vocal performance. I wonder how much of the instrumental (and background vocal) is being provided by the band and how much is being added by session musicians. The sound is so rich but it never obscures or overwhelms Urie's unique sound and crazy good vocals...have a Happy New Year!
@lovepanic27385 жыл бұрын
Kirk Ayers Brendon and Dan both played the drums, Nicole played her bass and Mike played guitar and then they had studio musicians record the strings and horns. (Usually they record using an orchestra set-up.) Then the background vocals are Mike, Nicole, Dan and Maya (Dan’s wife).
