IF you haven't seen "Remember My Name" Adam's percussion in that is simply incomparable. IMHO he's the best beatboxer anywhere (there needs to be another term for him - what he does is in a whole 'nother tier!).

You didn't miss a single amazing moment, note, progression, chord, growl, drum beat, or camera technique. What a great reaction! This is my favorite of all the songs on the album. Seems like I'm using "masterpiece" way too often lately, but Home Free just keeps getting better. Austin's songwriting talents really set this one on fire, and the guys back it up with all the appropriate sultry seduction implied by the lyrics! These 5 guys combine into one magnificent whole.

With that parentage it would have been amazing if it were not a great song! I believe the main part of the song had been written when Ernie came to Nashville later and sat down with Austin to sprinkle a little fairy dust and finish the song.

Austin’s songwriting has seemed to really have taken flight; maybe because he found his muse in Amberly? This is the most guttural and raw I have heard Austin sing and I loved it! This belongs on the radio! Great reaction, thank you!

The capability of excellence by each of the individuals in this group is off the charts awesome that allows them the flexibility to do so many types of vocalizations and to do it exceptionally well. I have not found a genre they are afraid to tackle whether individually or as a group they are amazing. Then top that off with their arrangements that augment the presentation to be "Home Free" owned. The legendary status of our Home Free vocalists just keeps mounting to greater accolades that is very deserving of our attention. They are simply amazing and yet they are very humble. I love this song & video - the singing, beatboxing and harmonies are terrific and the fire dancers are just amazing. I love Adam's long hair; however, given the length of Austin's and the fire, it was best his be in a ponytail. At the end Tim looks hypnotized by the fire and Adam & Chance are literally playing with fire - it's adorable!

This is such a great original song! Rob & Austin do a nice job taking lead on this. Love the guys harmonies, Tim's bass & Adam's awesome vocal percussion. Also really like the video with the fire & the dancers.

Airtime is one thing, but Home Free should be making quite a bit from KZbin and their patreon following. It would be nice to have a radio station dedicated to a cappella though.

@@JeffreyHackReacts There's no reason they couldn't be playing all these acapella groups on the radio. Most of them you can't even tell they are acapella. It appears to me it's a prejudice against these groups. Sad the music world have all the control on who gets played & who doesn't. Kind of like everything else in America right now. You know and I know that US radio stations don't have the freedom (for the most part) to choose what they play. A massive buying up operation has left most of them controlled by large music industry firms, who have no real interest in what they play, but also have side deals with labels to get their artists on the air. If you're not part of the nexus, you don't get played. Another problem is that music is so corralled into silos with labels that if you persist in calling yourself "country" you will never ever get out into the mainstream. The country stations are just as much part of the corporatism of radio as any other genre, if not more. Austin recently had a song at number 7 in the country charts, but there have been no reports of it being on the radio anywhere.

I quite liked the video. Especially Austin blowing out the flame at the end. Overall very effective. And I agree with you on the lighting and the exposure. This song is so smooth. However, I wanted a smidge more R&B. Specifically, fifth phrase. “Baby I’m burning, with passion”. There was no burning, no passion. I know they were trying to start slow and build. But I needed a hint more R&B Rob instead of Minnesota Nice Rob. Later on it gets 🔥. Good job by all. Thanks for reacting.

@@JeffreyHackReactsThere is a TikTok on Austin's account showing him, Jeffrey East and Andrew Tufano singing the chorus - the harmonies are already there. Austin tends to be very hands-on in his originals and has produced some really clever and charming arrangements for the band(eg Moonshine). I suspect it was all 4 of the writers to some extent plus Darren Rust, who is the past master of where to put in a "Ye-eh."

This is one of my favourite Home Free songs ever, and everyone seemed to up their game to make this a really good experience. At first listening it may sound simple but in fact contains all orts of eventfulness, with a change of lead, stepped up (ahem) intensity - OK sexiness, a change of gear again on the bridge, the key change that you noticed, further upping of intensity as Austin covers his entire rage and finally goes insane, zooming around the stratosphere. it's just unfortunate that the video seems to have been edited by a deaf person, since all the dancing around had nothing to do with the audio either in tone or in rhythm. The shots of the band were random shots, with none of the key moments marked. Did the editor not understand that if the lead changes, you need to mark that by showing who the new lead is? Or that if your lead is screaming "Give me everything!!" you don't' accompany that with more dead-eyed wafting by the woman? And what was that heart towards the end? This is not a love song!! But I enjoyed your reaction. Thank you for as always opening our ears a little more.
