From Stray Kids, ya gotta go with The Tortoise and the Hare (Lyric video as there isnt an MV sadly). It was one of their more experimental songs and the contrast between the song and lyrics is top notch. As an old head music producer...it's one of their songs that I will never skip...plus with the added bonus of learning the members names as many lyric videos highlight the person singing/rapping at the time.

What you were talking about... that Stray Kids sound... It is sort of their own genre called "malataste".

The bass rhythm in the bridge after the “hurricane” line was spoiled by Chan in his 2020 vlog where he filmed himself actually adjusting the sound to what he wanted and creating that rhythm while working. Clever STAYs with great memories heard the rhythm in the teaser Unveil Track for Venom and went “WAIT A SECOND” and found the clip!

MALA TASTE!!! That´s the genre created by them!! Btw Bang Chan makes most of their sounds and tracks, there are other people involved too, but not all the time, and even so, 3Racha is heavily involved in all of their content. It would be best if you watched how they worked together and made awesome songs right on the spot.

JYP gave full creative control to Stray Kids (a very rare decision in the K-Pop world) back when they debuted in 2018, and that gamble has paid off in SPADES. 3Racha (which is their rap sub-unit, whose members are Bang Chan, Changbin and Han) have composed, written and produced the Stray Kids songs (with some of the other members and a few outsiders also writing lyrics and producing on occasion) since the beginning. They are amazingly creative and very, very good at what they do.

I'd love to hear your perspective on Xdinary Heroes! They're from the same company as Stray Kids, but they're a band rather than a boy group. They also write most of their own songs and lyrics. Their most recent comeback is Hair Cut but there's also a great performance video for their b-side X-MAS!

Such a good song! For other great rap songs I recommend Freeze, Muddy Waters or Easy. Want more experimental Stray Kids? Try the Tortoise and the Hare. There are so many!!!
