what i love about back door the most next to the insane riff that hits you deep in the bones is that they actually put the knocking sound and the sound of a door creaking open into the song itself. Stray Kids loves to put these sounds into their songs. Like in Circus (japanese release) you have an elephant sound in the background, during Thunderous you have a car honking, during Maniac you have a drill sound and a bird chirping... its just so fun

The bell and the horn (? or trompet ? idk) are really doing it for me. Love anticipating them. Also Bang Chan hitting the bell in the choreography, love that so much and I think I even missed that during the first few viewings and then was so amazed by such a simple move

I also love that! Anytime I hear unique sounds in a production, it always makes me smile! There's so many sounds out there! It's cool to incorporate something that might not be considered a traditional instrument in the mix!

@@cutebutevil7387 God's menú entered in the grammy´s list of best 2020 songs, Thunderous entered to another one but im not really sure what list was, we'll see how Maniac en case 143 does in the lists this year!

I love hearing a professional say SKZ are basically their own sub-genre. They're doing their own thing, their own way, and it is perfection. Charmer, Chronosaurus, Sorry I Love You, All In (Korean version), and Circus (Japanese version, just for some variety), please. And of course Hellevator, their debut song. Written in a day and fully produced for release in 4.

Stray Kids are reeeaallllyyyy good at having their voices fill a lot of a section so certain parts of songs feel “louder” or “busier” than they actually are-especially during Changbin’s parts. The opening lines of both God’s Menu and Thunderous are rapped by Changbin, and there’s not a ton happening behind his voice, and what’s there is mostly supporting his vocal texture since he in particular has a very powerful delivery and strong texture to his voice. They’re great at recognizing this and balancing it very well so that the rap sections in particular don’t feel cluttered or muddled.

speaking of making their own genre, stray kids have actually pioneered one, it's called malataste !! i believe the name comes from the korean dish malatang which is a hot/spicy soup (??) gods menu, thunderous, and some of their other songs are under this genre

Even tho I've be listening to SKZ since Hellavator era it was Backdoor era that made me a stay and felix and hyunjin are my ult biases where as my ult wrecker is Jisung. This songs beat is so hype that it makes me dance and sing along aswell as the choreo amazes me
