the vocal effects (and nicepeters portrayal) of oppenheimer were heavily inspired by his interview where he said "now I am become death, destroyer of worlds." and the interview that is from is called "The Decision to Drop the Bomb". A really chilling and haunting video. let me add right quick that the quote is misrepresenting what Oppenheimer is saying, the full quote is: "I remembered the line from the Hindu scripture the Bhagavad Gita; Vishnu is trying to persuade the prince that he should do his duty, and to impress him takes on his multi-armed form, and says, "Now I am become death, the destroyer of worlds." I suppose we all thought that, one way or another." In this he is saying he is the prince and that he is being compelled to "do his duty" and that no matter what he would do millions would have died either way from either a land invasion of Japan or from another nation creating the bomb first. (note that Oppenheimer tried to persuade the US to not use the bomb)

Well, the "hymen" technically doesn't exist, it was simply the natural reaction from a vagina to actually bleed the first time it was deliberately penetrated by a dick. Nowadays, girls are a bit more used to masturbation and/or their partners are actually careful, so there is not necessarily any blistering and bleeding the first time their vaginas are penetrated. The "hymen" used to refer to a myth that the christian church once kept telling that claimed that a vagina have a weak barrier that keeps the girl a virgin, until it is pierced ... normally by her husband's dick. However, as more people started learning anatomy, and the church's influence weakened, more people in general learned that the "hymen" technically never has existed.

A lot of people who were directly involved wit the bomb, and some of the ancilliary groups across the U.S. had a sincere sense of guilt in what they had a hand in creating; Oppenheimer had a very notable change in personality once he realized what he unleashed upon the world. In several of his interviews, he has this just.... off look, a deep sadness and guilt you can see. They captured that for the most part.
@tek512

Oppenheimer did not feel nearly as guilty about it as he is portrayed as in fiction. He was certainly affected by it, but unlike his common portrayal, the man himself made peace with the fact that his creation was a necessary evil if humanity's future was to be preserved.

How does a grown man not get the hymen joke
@ashleyjohnson9651
@ashleyjohnson9651 5 жыл бұрын
Honestly, with the advances in sex ed (where we learn that no, a hymen is usually not supposed to break and bleed if the sex is being done right, and sex does not in anyway permanently alter the hymen nor can what it looks like be used to tell if someone is a virgin or not) and use of colloquialisms like "popping the cherry" mean that people these days may not have heard the word or remember it due to it's increasing lack of relevance

The "telephone effect" on Oppenheimer is representing the most famous representation on media that he got through a very memorable interview he did after the atomic bomb was used (kind of against his advise). You should check it out, it makes you value this visualisation on ERB even more

Oppenheimer, also known as "The Father of the Atomic Bomb," is credited as the most prominent mind behind the the invention of the nuclear bomb, ironically he considered it one of the biggest mistakes of his entire life. He was noted for being a pretty bitter and depressed person after the war ended. Understandable considering he helped invent a weapon that killed thousands of people, that's a lot of lives to weigh down one man's mind. He was theoretical physicist and was the director of the team that actually designed the bombs.

I do love your musical appraisals of ERB raps. You hear lots of reviews of what they say and who 'won' but you are in it for the musical analysis and that's unique so far as I can tell. May I respectfully suggest you consider the James Bond vs Austin Powers ERB in that (and it's old enough so I don't think I'm giving any spoilers), there are three musicians writing different rap themes for each of the three characters. It even shows that at the end (sadly after a quiet few measures where not much happens) but if you wait until the very end you'll get the full effect :-)

Oppenheimer talks/raps in a dramatic note , because it was inspired after his interview after he made the atomic bomb , and in that interview you can see he is dead inside because he realized he is the reason thousands have died (Hiroshima - Nagasaki) , and most likely a lot more will have the same fate .

The "telephone effect" isnt from a telephone It reference the interview he gave on television in the late 40s, early 50s were he talks about his guilt about his work becoming the atomic bomb. Thats also were he quoted hindu scriptures "i have become death, the destroyers of worlds"
