I have been dabbling in music production on/off for almost 4 years now, and have been working seriously since the last 1 1/2 months to improve my craft and try to create a career out of it. I concur with your statement. Sound engineering is different domain altogether. I am a sound engineer. I design studios, theatres etc. with the help of engineering skills, which primarily involves mathematics and physics. Sound engineer should also know about video engineering as well, because as a sound engineer alone you can't survive more in the industry. This field also have a subfield which is called as Audio-Visual automation. Here you can automate Audio-Visual devices with the help of your programming/logic skills.

Only Difference is I am doing Chartered Accountancy so I have no Physics/Technical knowledge. I have written and composed many songs and I want them to reach people. I've been through that phase, and I was lucky that I didn't commit a blunder at crucial stage of my career, it would've put me at least 5-6 years back in my journey, most Musicians can't survive such setback, hence I'm trying my best to spread awareness, and my target audience is middle class/lower middle class as I also come from that background and can relate with them. Now how can i grow in music and earn money.

Bro I'm 30, At your age I was also doing a job, but side by side I've been building my KZbin channel, & growing not only as a musician but also as a freelancer that I could quit my job 2 years back. The point is, today we can do both the things simultaneously, have a day job & build a social media following by doing music, once it reaches a level where we see earning potential, we can dive in full time, expecting a regular income from music right from day one will be putting unnecessary pressure on yourself. If you find such opportunity then great, otherwise as I did, work, earn, have your own setup so you can regularly create your own videos, this will take time but it's going to lay a foundation for long term success if you're good and persistent.

The problem is that, like you said, the courses are just too expensive. So I did some searching and found the Music Production graded course by Rockschool, which they say is designed by industry professionals. What is your opinion on that?
