This is an excellent video. Thank you! After about 20 years, I am now getting back to my songwriting. When I was younger, I didn't pay much attention to publishing. I did a some demos, but I never actually published or placed a song. I recently contacted a producer about doing some tracks, and he brought up publishing during our initial conversation. I felt like I needed to take a break and do some serious research to gain a solid grasp on the basics of publishing, and I found this video very helpful.
