Just to let you know Mars is about a young trans girl that he met in Maryland and she told him her story and he wrote this song for her and other trans people that felt like they were irrelevant and could not be accepted for who they are that's why I love him so much I know that's why you love him so much 🤗
@sscorpiun61354 жыл бұрын
I can't believe this. If it's true this has to be my favourite song of all time. When he was singing the part about feeling irrelevant I was literally crying about that exact thing while I listened.
@Jennifer-fv9dw4 жыл бұрын
@@sscorpiun6135 it’s very true. The girl wanted to take her parents to a yungblud show so they could see that there are other kids like her and accept her. She finally got them to go And after the show they went out for dinner and they finally understood what she was trying to tell them.

I always enjoy your takes on Yungblud. I agree about his rockstar quality- and a lot of artists he's worked with have said similar- his commitment to being himself no matter what is kind of infectious. He is definitely an Oasis fan- he did a quarantine cover of Champagne Supernova with Machine Gun Kelly. His new album just went to no. 1 in the UK and it was such a big deal. If feel like you might enjoy Freak Show on the album just because structurally it's quite a thing.

Funny thing is, just like the side bars on the video were saying YUNGBLUD did get his inspiration from a trans fan at warp tour but also I thought it was ironic how you were mentioning Life on Mars by David Bowie because when he was being interviewed Dom (YUNGBLUD) said that the entire time he was talking to that fan, that song played over and over again in his head while he was listen ik ng t ok bnb her tell her story which is another reason he took so long to write it, because he wanted to make sure it was a good tribute to Bowie and a PERFECT song for her. One of the many reasons I love him- everything he does and how much he appreciates his fans and really just people in general. It's absolutely beautiful.♡
