I was 12 when the original Top Gun came out. It was EPIC! Growing up in the era of blockbuster movies with incredible soundtracks was the best time to be alive and young. The original Top Gun soundtrack is completely brilliant from beginning to end.

Her jacket is Cruise's from the new movie. He wears the older leather jacket from the first movie in a couple of scenes. The jacket she is wearing is his jacket with Vx 31 squadron patch but none on the back. It's nylon and replicas are already on sale. They altered the old jacket on the back because the communist Chinese objected to the Taiwanese and Japanese flags. Top Gun came out my senior year in high school so I've been waiting 36 years for this. The original movie is one of my favorites of all time. The plane that flies over her isn't a jet but Tom Cruise's personal WW2 P-51 Mustang fighter. It's in the movie too. Propeller driven you can read Rolls-Royce on the engine when he's working on it.

Absolutely brilliant, the original Top Gun sound track is legendary, they needed something for Top Gun: Maverick that they would be proud of. Which is why Tom Cruise actually fired 21 pilots (who originally working on the soundtrack) because they were not making something of comparable greatness. So instead he brought in Lady Gaga and her brilliant song writing team and the rest is history! Just listen to this, so amazing! Tom Cruise wanted nothing less then greatness and he got it in this soundtrack which will be right there at the Oscars in the running for best original song next year mark my words!

The guy who posted this video said he doesn't know why her jacket says "Pete Mitchell", so this is for him.. The reason Gaga's jacket says "Pete Mitchell" is because that is who Tom Cruise portrays in the 'Top Gun' movies, Captain Pete Mitchell, aka "Maverick". Maverick is his call sign. Also, they are really flying in real F-18"s.

Lady Gaga, Man I feel like everyone from the 80s need to hear her just master piece to me. We have women of today who will gladly throw men under the bus just like Amber H did to JD lol an example. Women of today armed themselves will sharp claws ready to sink it in a man's gut to be persecuted harassed as toxic masculinity. Boy how could we let this happened we essentially erased our own natural process for the sake of feminazism, equality had been askewed to the brink of total erosion maybe there is still hope I do see some women hold on to that balance of real Equality, The fake news really distorted it. @@ryanoneill8591 UK is not the American market which is what the world bases everything off of. As a professional musician myself, this one is a sleeper. Can't remember a single part of the melody after hearing it twice and "Hold my Hand" is extremely lazy lyrics that my 5 year old niece can write. Mad respect for Gaga's body of work, but this one is a throw away. Here fast and will disappear just as quickly. I predict it will be forgotten within a month of the movie release. Gaga is a much better writer than this so I'm curious what went wrong. Lastly... the music is almost identical to "You and I". Very predictable, lazy songwriting.

Is not a jet! 😠 The freedom of the entire US rest in part over the wings of that spectacular aircraft; is one of the most iconic combat planes ever, responsible for downing thousands of enemy aircrafts in Europe and elsewhere during the WWII and beyond.
