Their dancing, musicianship, good manners, and enthusiasm were infectious, and, was felt by the spectators on location and viewers of their videos. The BEST ever. No one does it like Kyoto Tachibana. The skill, coordination and extraordinary ability this band has goes beyond each and every time. Their ability to play their instruments while moving, dancing, stepping and never missing a moment is incredible and touching. I have watched them for years, and I have seen literally hundreds of marching and performance bands. They are unmatched and the most amazing marching band. They hold a special place in my heart, especially when they do Sing, Sing, Sing. The honor, respect and sincere gratefulness they show to America is always touching, genuine, humble, and shows their enduring compassion towards people.

At the 2025 Rose Parade,Tachibana performed while running．They demonstrated a performance of "Ultra D difficulty.” Tachibana is a place where students practice independently．The flexibility of students’ thinking is creating something new．I look foward to seeing more of them in the　future．

ブラボー！！の一言に尽きるかな。この日を迎えられた親御さんや学校スタッフの皆さん、本当にお疲れさまでした。そして感動をありがとうございました。私は京都出身で丁度吹奏楽部が結成された1961年年生まれです。まさか橘が。。。ってのが本音ですが、平松先生や田中先生の尽力、それとお聞きしたところダンスは生徒さん自身で考えられているとか。。。涙、涙、涙なしでは語れない。。。すみませんｗｗｗ。。。オレンジの悪魔（天使）を知ったのは最近ですが、残された人生で橘吹奏学部を、子供たち、を応援したいなって思います。私もトロンボーンを昔かじったことがあり、今でも高齢者施設で音楽を奏でて認知症と戦っているのですが、音楽は。。。いや。。。橘は世界を救うかもｗｗｗ

I saw them for the first time at the 2018 parade. I'm glad they keep constantly getting invited back. I'm hoping that we'll get more videos of their performance because I know last time there were a lot of clips uploaded so we got to see a lot of their setlist.

Tachibana is actually a citrus fruit. It is both a place name and a person's name. The girls are probably orange because of the image of citrus fruits.

The school was founded in 1902 as Kyoto Girls' Handicraft School, before becoming Tachibana Girls’ Senior High School in 1957, taking its new name from an ancient tachibana tree at the Imperial Palace, close to where the school was situated at that time. The tachibana is a citrus fruit similar to a mandarin orange or tangerine, but not edible. It is seen as a symbol of eternal life. The school moved to its present location in 1985. Co-incidentally the new site had once been the home of the samurai warrior Muneshige Tachibana! You are right - when a former student designed the uniforms, orange was chosen because of the citrus fruit. The white hair ribbons represent the delicate tachibana blossoms.

一糸乱れぬ隊列を希望される貴方は映画スターウォーズのバトルドロイドの行進を見て興奮•感動していて下さいませ！ ２０１２年の初参加より京都橘は陽気で楽しい祝賀パレードへと他参加校に多大な影響を与えてきていると思っています 今回のターンはゲームに例えるとシビアな動きの２Ｄからファジーな３Ｄ的感覚を表現しようと挑戦したのかな？ ＹＥＳとＮＯを明確にしない態度を優柔不断と思う方には隊列がバラバラで調和がとれていないと不評で否定的なコメントも見受けられますが今回の奇抜な発想は今後、改良されて数年後には高評価されるかも？京都橘の皆さんの先見性には感服させられます マーチング コンテストはシビアな２Ｄゲーム パレードはファジーな３Ｄゲーム 新たな驚きと感動を•••

カチューシャミサイルが次々に発射されていき、最後歩兵が突撃、みたいなw このターンは、いうなれば、高校野球でブラスバンドが応援演奏しながらグラウンドに下りてきたと思ったら全員でベースランニングを始め、その間演奏は滞りなく続いていた。というのと同じくらいぶっ飛んでいて、マーチングの歴史で誰もやらなかった、やろうと思いさえしなかったような出来事です。
