They have such amazing chemistry, I don't understand why Aida is the only show they've ever done together, they should've become one of the go-to Broadway actor pairings! Love how they always kiss at the end of these performances. 😊 (I don't mean I ship them, I know they both have spouses and children, I just meant it's so sweet and in-character.)

As a New Yorker, I can honestly say the only good thing for me that came from the 9/11 attacks was that I could get tickets every Saturday night to see Aida for $20, front mezzanine. I saw it 30 times before it finally closed down. They need to bring it back NOW.

I remember seeing this back in the day on Dutch television, and NEVER forgot that great performance! Every Dutch musical artist on the program was put to shame by these two stars, Heather & Adam (the latter really blow me off my feet with his gorgeous rock voice, but Heather also did Easy as life-nothing short of brilliant)

Heather was going through kimo therapy back at that time for breast cancer . I don't know which breast it was but like my mom she lost her hair but she survived. My mom lost her battle within 4 yrs; heather has won hers and I am so happy she did. What a voice!

Okay, let's get this straight. I love Adam. LOVE HIM. I've listened to the Rent and Aida soundtracks more than humanly necessary, watched the Rent movie thousands of times and seen him live. BUT the forcing of the growl in his voice is completely over done in this performance. No wonder he's lost his voice over the years. (slightly, don't deny it) =\ I still love him, and this song, but someone should've told him that LESS is MORE sometimes!

yeah, but they could've at least let us hear her real voice, I heard byproducts of extreme pitch correction in her voice (a slight robotic sound...it's present in 90% of all R&B/hiphop songs released in the past decade, they use it for effect though).

I wouldnt mind an unknown as Radames but if one of the leads is going to be unknown, they will probably have to have an allstar cast (who may not be decent singers) like hairspray, since unknown actors usually arent bankable for this film genre. It doesnt really matter who they get as long as they are talented. I dont want another Sweeney Todd (a musical where a lead doesnt have the vocal capability to sing the songs) to happen, lol. Idina? Maybe, depending on the rest of the cast. :^)

Chex, what do you think of Beyonce's acting? Yes, she is a good singer (overexposed but I won't deny her talent) but I'm not sure acting is one of her talents. I would rather see a talented actress who can see well like Sharon Leal or Anika Noni Rose (her voice is high but she can low too).

I really don't like Beyonce's acting and I know I named some fairly well-known actresses but I would like to see some new talent, lol. An unknown was the lead actress in Hairspray and that did well. Yes, I would like to see a decent actor/singer playing Radames as well. Maybe James Marsden? If they decide to make Aida younger, then Ben Barnes would make a good Radames. He is a good singer (there are vids of him on KZbin) or Ewan McGregor. I cant think of any other tenors who are movie stars.

I think Adam has a great voice but he does wierd things with his vowels and it's annoying to listen to after a while and the scratch he puts on his voice isn't always necessary but i do like his voice
