Definitely do O Holy Night, and his other Christmas songs, too! The way Dan does them, they're not just for Christmas anymore! Also, The Sound Of Silence will always be special to me because it was my entry into the rabbit hole of Dan Vasc music, but my favorite is absolutely which ever one im listening to at the moment. Since this reaction was for Heaven Is A Place On Earth, it's my favorite. The next one I listen to will be my favorite then, etc.I love them all!

Dan does arrange and mix his musictracks with all the instruments by himself on midi, and he records his videos in his garage at his home. But the guy playing keyboard and guitars in this one is a Swedish guy who calls himself Victor the guitar nerd. He is an amazing guitarist you will hear play in several of Dan's videos, but he also a channel of his own with phenomenal guitarmusic.

Actually, the guitar and keyboard were played by his good friend, victorthegiuitarnerd (now a guitar player for the metal band ELEINE). Dan says he can play some instruments but not well enough to perform them -- but enough to know the capabilities of the instruments in his role as composer! Thank you for your reaction!

Talking about being a 'true musician', you may want to feast your ears on 'Tale with No End' by Fearless with Davi Vasc (Lead Guitars/Bass), Gabriel Belozi(Guitars), Giovanni Rezende(Drums), and Alex Sottani(keyboards). That's an original by Dan's band. They also do a Rhapsody cover 'Dawn of Victory' together with the original Rhapsody lead singer Fabio Lione. Absolutely out of this world.

How he can switch so easily between raspy & clear note baffles me. That's what makes him a true metal artist, he's never stuck in just one or the other. Then he turns on his bonus notes of whispers, growls, screams, in many of his songs, while his entire body expresses the meanings of the verses/ words. Victor Jonasson on the guitar AND keyboard (otherwise known as "Victor, the Guitar Nerd"). He has his own channel, by that name, and he has written a lot of original stuff. He's absolutely stupendous. These days, he's playing guitar (in Sweden, where he was born, raised, and lives), with the band called Eleine. It's a metal band, and they are very good. If you watch carefully, you'll be able to see his face...he's the only BLOND guitar player in the group. Also...if you go to his channel, there are a couple of videos that will show you all of him...even if only briefly, and vaguely. 😀 You should always check to see what Dan has said in either his Description, or a pinned comment for the video. Sometimes you won't see the musical credits (mostly in the quite old ones, because it wasn't always necessary back then). These days, the credits will generally all be in place, because they have to be. Here's what the Description says, on the the video, in this case: Track credits: All vocals by Dan Vasc All instruments by @victortheguitarnerd Mixed by Victor The Guitar Nerd and Dan Vasc Mastered by Tony Lindgren Now, Dan says that he DOES play some guitar, but he says it's not much, keys (at least somewhat), plus harmonica. If you go and check out his younger brother's website(s) (he's Davi Vasc), you can find some videos of him talking about about their dad, mom, and how they were brought up, etc., that also includes bits about why they LOVE music so much. Davi is the bass guitarist in their band Fearless, Gabriel Belozi is the "other guitars" guy, and Giovanni Rezende is the fantastic drummer. Dan is the main vocalist, but they ALL can sing beautifully. Davi and Gabriel write most of the music, and Dan usually writes the lyrics. They have one album on Spotify, etc., (Chronicles of Ancient Wisdom), and there's a new one (another original) that should be showing up every day, from what we've heard. Also, Dan has completed his (audio) MANOWAR tribute album that should be showing up on Spotify, etc. very soon, as well. More than likely, in that, there will be a LOT of Victor being featured...unless the Fearless crew has been at it with Dan, as well. Please DO react to "O Holy Night" even though it's not still the Christmas season. The song is for ANY time, really--especially the way Dan put it together! Be sure to check the Description (grin). Dan's band is Fearless- Dan on vocals;his younger brother Davi on bass(Davi also composes music for video games); Gabriel Belozi on guitars; and Giovanni Rezende on drums. You should check out their original song, Tale With No End, and their cover of Dawn of Victory with none other than Fabio Lione actually joining them in Dan's own garage studio. Dan's joy in that one tops even his joy in Beyond Belief, in which he was joined by John Schlitt and John Lawry, two members of Petra. Dan can do absolutely anything he wants vocally! A suggestion for a future Dan reaction, this one featuring a legendary Italian metal singer, Fabio Leone. Dan and his band, Fearless, got to host Fabio while he was on tour in Brazil. Dan looks so happy to be singing with one of his idols, and is so respectful and deferential. And the band is GREAT.
