I saw you in the 1997 production and was absolutely FLOORED by the show and particularly by the transformation. It was glorious and must have been a joy to be a part of. I'm so glad I happened upon your video. Thank you for being a part of it all!

Your video about The Magic Behind the Beast was very interesting and informative and the way they lift you up was truly magical. I was glad to know that everything when great for you when they lift up. You do have a lot of knowledge to give the young people about the theater. I think is will enhanced their desire to be an actor in the theater.

I love seeing these! The Beast is still one of my top-tier bucket list roles, and I love getting these little peaks behind the curtain. I first discovered you as Rapunzel’s Prince (I played the role when I was 16 and listened to your lovely rendition countless times), and I would love to see/hear some insights about that role!

Thanks. I will certainly do some on my time in The Woods! I am so glad you enjoy these videos.

This is so amazing how you broke down the whole details of the Transformation. So cool you still kept your original Beast masks and prosthetics from Broadway. It actually kinda reminds me of Bert Lahr's makeup as The Cowardly Lion. BEAUTY AND THE BEAST was my first Broadway show and it truly changed my world and discovering what kind of a performer I wanted to be.... a Musical Theater performer. You're amazing.

Great video, Chuck! I was thrilled to see your Automan figure, as I just recently acquired one after wanting the figure for many years. I never knew they made them back in the day (not until years later) and am very excited to finally have one of these rare beauties!

Thank you sir. This is a blessing to watch! I love learning the "how its done." I LOVE THE AUTOMAN FIGURE!!! I never new they made those! It was one of my never miss TV shows! I would have loved to have had one of those!

With playing "The Beast", what was the funniest onstage mishap you remember from your run?!!!

Love this Chuck. I’d love to know what the plan b for the transformation was and how you knew it wasn’t working. I saw the Spanish version on KZbin the other day from years ago. I think it was the same set. Did you see Disney are bringing a new production to the UK next year?

Thanks Karl. I will definitely do a follow up video on the Modern Dance transformation. The rig was always tested at intermission so if there was a glitch we had ample warning. Mercifully it never failed in mid effect! Glad to see it coming again. I’d love to be involved again but I’d be a pretty old Beast! Maybe Maurice. Thanks for visiting the channel!

Hello Chuck, seeing Beauty and the Beast in Toronto with my late sister was one of the most amazing experiences of my life! Your performance was phenomenal!!!💞(we saw it four times!) Thanks for the autographs:) I so hope it comes back to Toronto! Oh one question, did you name your daughter after Paige O'Hara?

I have played the beast twice in my life. Both of my transformation were not cool. I was the prince at the end but I was really hoping it could have been something where the audience would not see coming.
