Research stuff ! Brilliant presentations decoding the layers of the krithi - from raga selection to its meaning - inspired to look for such commonalities in other krithis ! Namasthe ji !

What a lovely episode, drawing parallels between two different compositions of Tyagarajaswamy, bringing the commonality in such a beautiful way 😍 Thanks for guiding us through the wonderful sahitya of kritis thereby making us dwell more and more on the world of our great composers ❤️🙏

Wow!! Brilliant Kritis, Sung & explained beautifully. The ragas are melodious to the ears and with your explanation, our imagination soars.Kalpa Druma settings enhance the mood of the episode & on a lighter note, I am sure Anagha Nadig came on her Bullet bike to video shoot !!😊

Excellent Thought. அரியும் சிவனும் ஒண்ணு. அறியாதவன் வாயில மண்ணு. Thiagaraja has expressed this thought soaked in Bhakthi & saranagathi in these two Krithis. Is there a trace of Karaharapriya in Devaamirdhavarshini while singing the high octaves ( விவரமு தெலிஸின கனுலகு). Pl clarify. These two krithis were made popular by Dr. S. Ramanathan & S G Kittapa respectively. GOD BLESS YOU Ms. GAYATHRI abundantly. Regards. Ramchander

That’s a detailed note. Yea Devamrutavarshini is a derivative of Karaharapriya. Glad you enjoyed this :)
