Every indian movie is basically a musical! People dancing in sync even though they were just roaming on the street, voices of the actors becoming perfect while singing, the surroundings match perfectly with the song and oh every person is suddenly wearing the same costume.. From a theater kid's perspective.. When a chacter breaks into song, it's because their filled with so much strong emotion that talking isn't enough, they have to sing it. When done right, it can be pretty powerful.... but it's annoying when it's done wrong.
