I first heard it (& would overplay it!) when I was probably 14 or 15. now I'm 28, nearing 29, & I'm reminiscing about how life was so much easier as a teenager. no bills, no feeling exhausted all the time, always seeing my friends... life is rough now 😪

Back when In elementary school and getting picked up after school, falling asleep to this song as I went back home in the warm car. I remember discovering how to use the radio feature on my flip phone at the time and I had a pair of headphones and played the stations that had this song and many other nostalgic 2008 rock songs all day. Fast forward to today, society and technology has changed in so many ways lol. I think our generation has been through the biggest change since the industrial revolution, and it's sad but also cool at the same time.

I searched for The Cure song "Pictures of You". The search bar spat out suggestion "pictures of you, pictures of me" and I was instantly brought back to my childhood. This song was constantly on the radio when I was a kid and it reminds me of afternoons when I sat at my grandfather's office, waiting for him to finish. Plus, Polish phone operator, Era, used the song in their advertisement. Such nostalgia.

This is the most nostalgic song ever for me. It reminds me of a time when I didn’t have to think of any of the world’s troubles, when my older brother would give me piggy back rides. Now everything is so stressful. I wish I could go back in time to just appreciate those moments one last time.
