In fact: no. There are too many good ones out there from different countries, like: Testament (USA), Accept (Germany), Gotthard (CH), Slayer (BR), Pantera (USA), Queensryche (CA), Celtic Frost (CH), not to mention the really older ones like Dio, Black Sabbath and many others.

And for one second I lost my head and for one second, I wished that you were dead For one second, You wish that you were here all alone Hold back the tears that could fall for me And for one second, I lost my breath And for one second, I cherish what you said And for one second it seemed That I was here all alone. Hold back the tears that could fall for me. And for one second, I understand And for one second, My life was in your hands And for one second, You wish that you were here all alone. Hold back the tears that could fall for me, They fall alone

As much as I love Icon, Draconian Times (wich features my favourite song - Enchantment) One Second is and always will be my favourite PL album. I also fancy Symbol of Life a lot from their "alternative" era (Host not so much... lacks Greggs lead lines and features too much background layers). But One Second is class, grace and intelegence on creating various ambiences though composition (in a less is more logic) at its best. There are only 3 songs I label "meh... kinda good" in this album (this cold Life, mercy and soul corageous). All the rest are at least atonishing. Cuts like One Second, Say Just Words, The Sufferer, Blood of Another, Sane, Take Me Down and I Despair are almost perfect. Nevertheless, and though I don't believe they'll ever come near what they achieved here, I would like to see them trying to do something fresh rather than trying to do "Gothic 2015" (like they're doing and coming short). I'm a bit on my own on this one as it seems that almost everyone loved "The Plague Within". As far as I'm concerned other than the first 2 tracks (wich are both 5 star material) I think the album is a letdown and I get the feeling that PL is composing based in what the majority of fans wanna hear (thus the lack of inspiration). Tragic Idol was ok, Faith Divides Us and In Requiem had their moments. But when compared with Icon and Draconian (or even Shades or Symbol) they all fall short, when you compare any of their last efforts with the monument that is One Second, the gap is huge. Simply put: one of my top 10 albums of ALL TIME.

Надеюсь, вы пошутили. Холмс очень слабый вокалист, это даже на студийных записях слышно. К старости немного навострился, но и сейчас всё не блестяще.

First time I heard this song was on a mixtape a girl made for me. To this day, when it ends, I half expect 'Power' by Clawfinger to play next.

Yes they had a vibe of DM in those few albums. Loved it. They should have keep going on to me. I would love your input on the first video of my first album. It got the attention of one of my heroes Joe Bouchard (ex bass player founding members of BÖC) who is following us on Soundcloud but returns from people who likes same music is always the best. If you have just 3 minutes to listen and a bit more to comment, that would mean the world to me. Keep rockin' : kzbin.info/www/bejne/j3vUnqaOmZ2EfpY&t
