Such an underrated movie! Has become a massive cult classic here in Australia. One of my favourite movies ever! ❤ I was 11 when the movie came out and I was enthralled from the first moment. Although I have the VHS and DVD, I must mention that that is really hard to find a copy of the movie anywhere these days! Lucky I got copies early on before they were hard to find. Chris and Kirsty’s vocals were both amazing considering that neither really had any singing experience.

BTW, out of curiosity, have you seen Muriel's Wedding? Australian movie from the 90s with Toni Collette. It flew under the radar in the states, but my love of ABBA made it an instant hit and classic to me when it came out and still love the movie. The DVD looks pretty good so a blu ray would magnificent. Would totally buy 2 if they released it. Many of the actors are still around so extras would be highly possible.

The controversial summer camp film she did with Tatum O' Neal and Matt Dillion called Little Darlings got a 4k UHD limited release from Vinegar Syndrome. If you like the film you should know it's stunning! I paid about $45 this release but I've read they will be doing a non-limited release that will be cheaper. It does include a blu ray as well. Maybe we'll get the same treatment for The Pirate Movie. I brought it up on a forum about the Little Darlings release and we're not the only ones who love this film.

Love this movie! I got to meet Christopher Atkins a couple of weeks ago at a Comicon. He was very kind and got a kick out of my cosplay of Cruella lol.
