I like darren but Lyca's voice runs in her genes. Da father, mother has great voices. No doubt na manalo sya. "KABILANG BUHAY" was originally a "Bandang Lapis" song. It was a very painful song. Most of people uses this song for the person who passed away. It was relatable. And Lyka Gairanod is the grand winner of The Voice Kids along with Darren Espanto and Juan Karlos Labajo ❤️❤️

Lyca Gairanod just turned 17 last November 21. She was the first Grand Champion of The Voice Kids Season 1. Her coach is Sarah Geronimo, they were same team of Darren Espanto back then. They were actually four (Lyca and Darren are team Sarah, Juan Karlos Labajo is team Bamboo and Darlene Vibares is team Lea) who fought through singing to get the Title and Lyca got it and declared as the 1st Grand Champion of The Voice Kids Season 1. She wasn't often performed on TV Shows unlike Darren but she's still remembered by many people. And as she gradually grow, her talent also get better and better specifically her vocal texture. She's just really a talented and kind singer. Actually, during their singing battle, she's not used to English Song and she had a hard time about it that's why mostly she performed is Tagalog Song and it makes her so amazing.

She was originally known as a little kid who liked belting out Aegis sogs. I know you know about Aegis. Check out The Voice Kids season 1. Darren and JK were her runners-up. I am glad that Lyka improved her singing over the years. So I'm also glad she's getting recognized once more. I wasn't a fan then but I knew she could get even better and finally prove her mettle.
