It's actually the "Spotlight" session that went dirty. Hi Ovela! I understand your point that all four did sang the song very well and was thinking that they should pass to the next level. However, its a competition, the judges needs to choose the best of the best. There 69 tallents who passed from the auditions, but they need to trim it down to top 12. I cant imagine how tough and pretty hard it is for the judges to choose but they had too. Regarding their comments and critics to the idol hopefuls after their performance, I believe, the viewers only hear their comments and not the contestants.

The Philippines standards of music is well established, at least for the mainstream media. It will take a revolutionary event to accept new nuances like new genre of music which never the less is happening in indi music in the Philippines.

At this point of the game, we can say that everyone can sing. But the judges need to find the best. So they grouped them into similar singers so they can compate who is better. So it is inevitable to let go of good singers to give way to the better ones.
