Leron, Leron Sinta or “My Dear, Little Leron,” is a popular Filipino folk song from the Tagalog region. It is traditionally a work song, representing those who are in the fields harvesting fruits, though the origin is unclear due to the lack of scholarly literature that examines Philippine folk music. Leron-leron sinta is that believed to have originated in the provinces and was traditionally sung during the papaya harvest season. It has a call and response and is typically sung in duet by a man and a woman, with some minor alteration in the lyrics.
What is the moral lesson of Leron Leron Sinta? Leron-leron sinta gives inspiration to people because the moral lesson of the song is to keep moving forward. No matter how hard it is to continue, no matter how much you fail, you must continue being positive that someday you'll get there and you'll reach your goals.
Hägersten A Cappella is an ensemble which resides in Uppenbarelsekyrkan (Swedish church of Hägersten) in Stockholm, Sweden. The choir consists of 40 members between the ages of 18-35 and is additionally a part of the extensive choir function within the congregation. Numerous of the members have been active in the choir for several years.
The choir is frequently performing in their main church, on tours and in several other contexts. ​They have​ also participated in a number of choir competitions and their success has been very prominent.
The repertoire of the choir is varied with emphasis on classical music and with a penchant for music written by Swedish composers. The choir have launched two albums, Pacem performing music written by Herbert Howells, Byrd and Stanford, and Suites for Voices and Instruments 1-4, a collaboration with jazz pianist and composer Elise Einarsdotter.

i don't know what different countries love about old filipino folk songs, but it's been used since decades ago till now from school choirs to pro competitions around the world. i guess it's fun to arrange, easier to pronounce and memorize, so cool to listen to especially from choirs. leron leron sinta is just one of the popular choir piece others are, bahay kubo, coconut nut, 'paru-parung bukid' and a top favorite of many countries is the 'rosas pandan'. and a lot of talented choirs and schools around the globe have been nailing it with these songs.

We sing it substituting some kind of limerick, such as " ang baril ko'y pito and sundang ko'y siyam" - Translation: I carry seven guns and nine bolos.
