When I do my reaction videos I don't press pause because I don't want to interrupt the natural flow of the music as it was originally intended by the artist. I try to vocalise my thoughts in real time as I listen to the song, and then summarise my reaction afterwards.

Yes, the one who has captivating eyes is Jimin, and he has captured the hearts of many, many worldwide! He was featured on a song that came out in January, Vibe, something else you can react to. In fact there is a live version with a band that is maybe better than the MV. He also has a solo album dropping in March. In his "spare" time he is the brand ambassador for Christian Dior and a total comedian in their variety show, Run BTS, the most recent episodes being "Mini Field Day", recorded in the fall (find on YT channel BangtanTV). 💜

one thing to keep in mind is that many BTS songs are made to be danced to so that´s why you wont normally hear harmonies on their upbeat songs. maybe on the backing track but not live. all of these songs here has a cerography. its totally different from how American do music. and BTS always sounds better live than on the album. that´s why we always want to see them live. plus you get a whole performance along with the songs itself. it´s a huge festival when bts and army meet.

Thanks for reacting to BTS ! I think they will surprise you on many levels ! BTS has, no lie, the wildest range of music any artist have and hundreds of songs. That means, no matter what your genre is, you'll find songs you like and some you'll enjoy less. Anyways, as much as medias like to put groups in a box, BTS is no typical "boyband" and even in the Kpop industry, they're totally different. They're pionniers in some way and to these days, I haven't seen any artist that big being so normal out of stage. But most of all, they've been working very hard for a decade, literally starting from scratch in a company that was on the verge on bankruptcy only to have made this company one of the biggest economic sources in South Korea nowadays. There are 3 rappers and 4 singers. And on top of being amazing rappers, singers and dancers ; BTS members write, produce, take part in the artistic concepts, music videos, dance choreographies, ideas... Everything basically, in collaboration with their company staff and artists. They're really on a line of their own and I think you'll see that for yourself when you react to more. Also, I know you probably had a bunch of comments about how they DO actually sing live even while dancing, and I understand that it's pretty hard to see it (I thought exactly the same when I first listened to them live) but they do in fact sing live. Even tho they have backing vocals so they can breath on certain notes while dancing, people who actually are familiar with their voices (and speaking voices) clearly hear the difference between live and studio. So Armys can 100% confirm they sing live and can even point out the moments they stop singing to take a breath 😂 That being said, you're really perceptive on many levels, can't wait to see more of your reactions 😊 Now, I think you should definitely react to the different fan-made guides about BTS. They'll put you on many informations about the group, the members, how they work and everything basically. Because above learning about their group history, these guides make you understand their music a lot more in some way. That was my case when I first became a fan (and I'm sure I'm not the only one). I guess learning about the background of each member, their background as a group and the way they work for their craft, makes you understand the music (and the artistry) in a much more complete way. The most complete (and amazingly made) guide is : "A Guide to BTS Members: The Bangtan 7" (by Taylor Mari). Hope you'll react to it ! In any case, enjoy the journey !!

Dynamite was not written by them, but it was their first all English track and was released during the pandemic to literally just give people something fun and upbeat to make them feel better. They in no way NEED autotune; there are hundreds of videos of them behind the scenes where they just break into song and on lives they've done (just sitting in front of their computers singing) where there are no mics or only mics with reverb... they really are just THAT good. I've seen voice teachers react to Jungkook's lives where they've said his real voice is so clear it SOUNDS like he's using autotune. o_O The MV for "Save Me" is a one take and 100% worth checking out.

Honestly for Dynamite their really isn’t that much auto tune for this performance. Jungkook has amazing pitch and very good at changing his voice to different tones (raspy, Smooth, etc). Honestly I think the mic were just tuned (or whatever it is called) really well, especially since this was their “arena” literally because it was during the pandemic.

Okay, I nearly choked when you said that they don’t have amazing voices. I hope you keep exploring these guys, this is the tip of the iceberg :) The guy on the far right is Jimin, he's known for his high vocals and smiley eyes among other things, lol. People notice him a LOT when they see BTS for the first time. It's called the Jimin effect 🤣 2 suggestions for you, 2021 festa room live is a medley of b tracks spanning their discography and it shows a bit of their musical diversity and personalities. Not really any choreography, they're just hanging out and doing their thing. I think you should see one of their live performances with choreography too though. It's insane to me how they can dance with the intensity that they dance with and still sing like they do. Top tier performers for sure, so second suggestion is the song On live in grand central terminal. They shut it down in the middle of the night and performed there for Jimmy Fallon's show. Amazing.

If you want to hear some amazing vocals, check out Jungkook's raw sound. He does live streams - in his pajamas - and sings karaoke... Into a karaoke mic or even a cellphone. Often without warming up, and recently while kinda drunk. He can do a lot of things with his voice and he's not afraid to show us his actual raw, unedited voice. Mistakes and all. It's so much like hanging out with your singer buddy 😅 He's got astounding relative pitch & pitch memory - you can also find clips of him singing a cappella and off the cuff and he's rock solid. (People say "perfect pitch" a lot, which also might be true, it just doesn't really matter.) And people often think he's much more autotuned than he is because his register transitions are impossibly smooth. All four vocalists have great voices and really good technique - you can use them to teach it - and you were particularly captured by Jimin, who combines a very high natural range, super bright placement, and a ton of texture into his unique sound. I love his voice too 😁 I just brought up Jungkook because his raw sound is very easy to find. In a live last year he went for a high note with such gusto he knocked himself out of his chair and finished the song from the floor 🤣

Auto tune isn’t used to make them sound like they can sing. They can sing. Whenever it is used it is to produce a specific effect which was the case in Dynamite. Maybe because I am familiar with them and their music, I think they have outstanding voices. Each one brings something different to their songs. I agree they do not have voices like Celine Dion which is good because they are not and do not represent themselves as or like Celine. They are RM, Jin, Suga, J-Hope, Jimin, V, and Jungkook. They are versatile all around performers, Their performances are unmatched. We Army appreciate when an individual decides to listen to their music. However, you mentioned you have things to do and a family when you discovered the requested video lasts fourteen minutes. Do not inconvenience yourself. The reaction should be fun for you not troublesome.

BTS vocalists are fantastic and have a very good range. The main vocalist is JungKook (third member from the left) has been included in the Rolling Stone’s list of the 200 Best Singers of All Time. Maybe you could try to read the lyrics to enjoy the songs better or to pause the video to talk instead of talking over the music.

Omg this was so cute, they had me dancing and sing along to the three songs, the choice of songs sent e from being happy to sad and i went in a roller coaster of emotions. DynAMIte had me singing and dancing along and i so wanted to be that vinyl record so badly. Save Me had me in my feelings as i was smiling along, swaying and also Jimin, Tae and Jungkook dancing along to the chorus had me laughing so much. Spring Day i had a tear in my eye thru that song and the vocals during it had me in my feelings so badly. And dont get me started on their clothes, i mean Jiminie OMG i was just speechless and on a side note every members english has improved so much im just in love with it, also i love it when they perform with a live band as it just gives off another kind of vibe and its the best when they perform with a live band.

The song choice here was Dynamite to make people happy and dance, but Save Me and Spring Day to comfort people experiencing grief, isolation, loneliness and depression. What I especially love about Spring Day is how well it describes grief, but it doesn't just talk about being sad and lonely and feeling love and longing, but also the sides of grief that people often feel ashamed and guilty of, the anger and resentment. It is a fan favourite and was perfect for this concert when so many people were struggling with those feelings.

The first song was their uplifting song for ARMY in the midst of the -demic. It doesn't sound much like their Korean songs, true, but is still very uplifting. Save me..was a bit older, but quite popular. I like it a lot. Spring Day is about profound loss and the possibility of recovery. It was written around the time of the Sewol Ferry disaster, and some listeners theorize it was indeed about that event. The Sewol was carrying a large group of students and capsized, resulting in nearly all of them dying. There was a lot of government corruption and mismanagement connected with it. A tragic event. The guy on the far right is Jimin, yes, beautiful eyes, captivating voice, very unique, and he's worked very hard for it. It is my theory that BTS the group actually reigns in their full talent, as many have strengths that the group doesn't fully use.

I agree with you. Their songs in their native language are always better. It's common practice in Asian Pop to include a bit of English but unusual to be in all English. Dynamite and Permission to Dance are the rarities. RM - who you mentioned had rich tones, has a new album called "Indigo". 10 tracks, 8 with collaborations, is rich. "Wildflower" includes a female Korean rock vocalist. The MV is visually stunning. Her vocals are ... indescribable, but hit in such a huge way. I'm 74, ignored rap until BTS. My friend, 60+ traditional Southern Lady, was moved by that song. I don't think there's autotune but you'll know better than me). There is a live performance of him and Youjeen (and most of the other Korean collaborates). It's a worthwhile look-see. (In between kids, work, and the rest).

One of them used autotune only in Dynamit's song, and it is not much different from his real voice. If you watch other Dynamite performances, you will understand. In order to see the capacity of their voices, I think you should see other live performances like fix you , film out , truth untold , zero o'clock, Butterfly
