I'm a musician that has written over 300 songs. Of course they aren't all winners, but I would say I wrote songs in between 1-3 hours. Songs usually write themselves and if you have to force them, they mostly suck. I can't speak for other musicians, but I consider myself mediocre most days. If I were more skilled in theory, it shouldn't be difficult to write songs even faster. Never should take more than a few hours plugging away if you have talent. Lyrics are the hardest.

Agreed, the grasshopper's song had a flavour you don't really find that often anymore. Now here's the most beautiful love story: Me and you? Though we have fallen short of the glory of God by comitting just one sin which we deserve death and hell for, the Good News is that God loved us soo much that He, All-Powerful and All-Knowing Spirit came to earth in a human body as Jesus Christ, the fullness of God bodily, to live a perfect life keeping and fulfilling all laws and commandments, not sinning ONCE, and then sacrificing Himself on a cross for YOU! By shedding His Blood, He paid the penalty for your sin so that you could be washed clean from all sins and develop a personal relationship with God and spend eternity together with Him in Heaven. How awesome is that?! That's God's grace. All you have to do to accept His gift of grace is turn away from your sin and believe that Jesus is God, He shed His precious Blood for you and He is risen from the dead, He's in full control of your life that He rules over you. It's not by works or being a good person, it's only by God's grace through faith in Him. Jesus desires a personal relationship with you. Wow that is so incredible! Please turn to Him, He loves you so much and so do I!!

As far as an "Internet phenomenon" for a person with just shy of 3mill subscribers and all the other folowers the people in this must have short of 900k views in one month isnt great. At around $5000 for 1 mill views this must have cost way more than that to make. Its a good idea but seem like it might need "TV" money to make it work.

When I first saw this show I was in a musical rut, I wasn't playing my guitar or making music. I pawned my guitar (a beautiful Jackson 8 string) and didn't care if I got it back, in my head I believe I didn't deserve to have it back. The Musician Mansion had so many moments of talented musicians playing, laughing , jamming, collaborating and enjoying music. I forgot how that felt and missed my guitar and immediately got it back. I remember resting my head on the head stock and started to tear up over the fact I gave up. After that I started making music again Thank you Jared for making this show and invited all these amazing people to inspire others. 🤟

Grosshopper was the most “feel good” music for me. Skylimit was the most catchy and like Angel said, felt the most polished. Graystone produced the stank face and I enjoyed the heaviness. Ah man, I love this show! This brings me back to my school days. In the Netherlands we have a music school named after one of the dutch legendary musicians, The Herman Brood Academy. I've had the honor and the pleasure to be part of that experience. Doing the Artist course. For 3 semesters, 3 years... every week was exactly like this. New people around you, soaking in all that inspiration (if there was a good connection, cause it can also go horribly wrong ^^ ) have a challenge and create something amazing together under pressure and in a very short time window. It was such a privilege to be part of that. I'm a musician myself but never gone pro with it, but this resembles the exact energy I got from those schooldays. Thank you so much for this great content.
