Now that you've finally turned to The Warning, you'll discover (and be discovered by) The Warning Army - that's their very large, loyal and vocal fan base. These fantastic young ladies have done several amazing video productions and recorded live sessions all of which are outstanding. However, as an old rocker from the 60's, I find there's nothing quite like a live performance, and these girls are even better live. I would direct you to any of the recently released recordings from their August 2022 concert at Teátro Metroplitán in CDMX (Mexico City). Whenever you choose to watch one of these performances, keep in mind the altitude of Mexico City - a bit over 7,000 ft!! The only other comment I would make (and I always do) is how important it is to pay attention to the lyrics of the songs these geniuses write. So amazingly mature and thought provoking.

I saw them last year when they toured with Halestorm and the were awesome. They are on their ERROR world tour right now. And they are going to Europe at the end of May and opening for Muse again. They did four shows with them in Monterrey, Mexico already and Muse like them enough to invite them again to open for them.

Really cool reaction. The Warning have always had outstanding songwriting and performances. It’s great to see how David Bandeth was able to help them refine their techniques (timing) a bit. They have no bad songs and of their 3 full length albums and 2 EPs, their latest album, ‘Error’ is incredibly well done. Check out the NEW version of Enter Sandman that they arranged, along with Alessia Cara, at Metallica’s request, for Metallica’s ‘Blacklist’ album.. TOTALLY DIFFERENT. Thanks!

A couple fun facts: In the original Enter Sandman video you mentioned, the guitarist was only two years older (14) then the drummer (12) That killer bassist (I’ve always been most impressed with her) was only 15 when disciple (and the rest of the album) was recorded during COVID lockdown in 2020 You’ve been Warned

In 2021 Metallica celebrated the 30th anniversary of the Black Album by asking 53 different Artists to record covers of the 12 songs on the Album and Metallica took all those covers and made the Blacklist Album and The Warning were one of those 53 Artists, they teamed up with Canadian Pop singer Alessia Cara and they did a cover of Enter Sandman, it's not a Cover but a Reimagining of the song it's like a whole new song and they made it their own.

Once you go down the rabbit hole you don´t come up. These girls have been pumping out 100% bangers, they probally don´t know how to write bad songs. It´s not a roller coaster ride, it´s full throttle all the way. They constantly test boundaries and try new things and it always works. Seeing them live is so satisfying. You get happy and full of energy. I listen to TW every day and find my self singing or humming something out of one of their songs. Welcome to the rabbit hole. They don't write bad songs. They have intelligence and taste and wisdom WAY beyond their years. Paulina is an incredible writer/singer/drummer. Dany is a killer guitarist and vocalist. When she writes, she moves you. Ale is a thundercloud of a bass player with a total sixth sense of groove. She handles backup vocals and even lead when Dany is sick. All three play piano/keyboards. These three are otherworldly forces of nature.

Nice Reaction! That first video you saw was in 2014 and they were Ale (Bass) 9 yrs. old, Pau (Drums) 12 yrs. old and Dany was 14. They are now 18, 21 and 23 yrs. old and young Ale is taller than both her older sisters. They just went on Tour in the U.S. at the end of April in California, fixing to do 4 gigs in Texas and are working their way to the east coast and then head over to Europe for the first time. They have 4 gigs scheduled to open for Muse (their favorite band) and then they are going to stay over there and do some of the Summer Rock Festivals in Europe.

It must be a shock to go from the 2014 version of Enter Sandman to the official video for Disciple. Lucky for us, all the points along from there have been documented, and watching that journey is a rewarding experience. They were off to a good start then and it's been upwards ever since, with 3 full albums of originals and not a dull song in the bunch. Zero filler. Can't figure out why they aren't known by everyone yet.

The Warning is one of those bands that actually sound better live, than in the studio. Especially with the Teatro venue. It was professionally recorded, mixed, and produced.

As others have mentioned watch the Teatro Metropolitan live performance of this song it is even better. Welcome to The Warning rabbit hole, they are simply incredible, they took the success of that first Enter Sandman video and ran with it. They worked extremely hard making many sacrifices along the way, all to pursue their passion for music and give us the viewers some truly amazing songs to listen too; and they were gracious enough to allow us to watch them on their journey, communicating directly and letting everyone know how things are going. They have great common sense (a rarity these days) and they know what they want. They stuck true to their values and vision and did not allow the record industry to change them, their look or their sound, only signing with a label that was willing to agree to their terms. This means they get to keep all the rights to their music and have full creative control. Great role models for anyone of any age to follow.

Hey Jeff Glad you got to the Villarreal Velez sisters. It was Enter Sandman they did at ages 14 12 and 9. Metallica saw that. Kirk said that the drummer kicks maximum a**. Daniela (Dany) on guitar, Paulina (Pau pronounced Pow) on drums, and Alejandra (Ale) on bass. Love Disciple because of Ale's bass intro. And you get Dany and Pau singing co-lead. Dany sings lead normally. Pau sings lead on some songs. Ale will sing lead if Dany needs a break or is not feeling well. This song is from the most recent 3rd album Error. They have spent the last year plus touring for it. Including all last summer with The Pretty Reckless and Halestorm. Lzzy said that she had to take them on tour after she heard them. At one show last summer Lzzy came out mid The Warning set and gifted a new custom Gibson Explorer to Dany. Dany thought she just got to borrow Lzzy's guitar until after the set when Lzzy told her that it is hers. I believe Dany usually plays PRS. Ale is a Specter endorsed artist playing a 5 string bass. You saw Enter Sandman as kids. They reimagined it with Canadian Alessia Cara for the Metallica Blacklist album. That and this song along with Money, Choke, Animosity, and Martirio live at Teatro Metropolitan CDMX in August 2022 have been released so far.

Alejandra (Ale) the bass player in the viral video you remember was tiny, dwarfed by her bass. Now, she's a statuesque beauty who must be close to 6 ft tall, assuming her sisters are of average height. She may actually be the most proficient musician of the three. Try to find the video of Ale playing a cover of the ridiculously complicated opening bass part of Muse's Hysteria. She makes it look easy as though she might be wondering what to have for dinner while playing it.

From drummer Paulina - Disciple is a song about social media, right? and how opinions are bought in social media and are fed to us in a way that we don't even know and how by like feeding ignorance and cultivating hate, like people gain a lot of power and money So that's what Disciple is about The Villarreal Velez sisters are amazing songwriters and performers from Mexico who live in Monterrey, San Pedro Garza Garcia, Nuevo Leon. Each one of their original songs is great. Their second album, "QUEEN OF THE MURDER SCENE", is a concept album. It follows a girl's journey into unrequited love; from infatuation and obsession on into stalking and murder, then madness and the fight over her soul. It is a masterpiece. It was nominated for Best Rock Album at the 2019 Independent Music Awards. Their 1st full-length LP, "XXI CENTURY BLOOD", is also very good and is packed with many great songs. The video for the title track, "XXI Century Blood", was nominated for and won many awards. Their very 1st released recordings are from their 6 song EP, "ESCAPE THE MIND"; and it is amazing. Despite being courted by numerous offers from many major record labels, The Warning have stayed independent through the years; relying on crowd funding to finance their projects. They refused to give up creative control over their material ... down to even the clothes they wear on stage. After 7 months of negotiations, The Warning signed a 5 album recording contract with Lava/Republic Records/Universal Music Group in the fall of 2020. They decided to release 1/2 (6 songs) of their completed 3rd full-length album in an EP called "MAYDAY" October 8th, 2021. The entire album was released June 24th, 2022: called "ERROR". "Disciple" is my favorite track! Both parents are professionals (civil engineer and dentist) and they enrolled their daughters into a private Catholic Bilingual school Liceo de Monterrey, Mexico. Regular family functions included gathering around the TV with popcorn and watching LIVE concert dvds of legendary bands like Led Zeppelin, Pink Floyd, Queen and AC/DC. When their parents got them the video game Rock Band at ages 8, 6 and 3, they went nuts playing it obsessively. Soon after they got real instruments and lessons from professional teachers: and the rest is history. Amazing they are 23, 21 and 18 years old and have already written, arranged, and released 47 original songs. I was fortunate enough to get to meet them after their show January 16th, 2020 at The Whisky a Go-Go in Hollywood, California. I had the opportunity to meet with them 3 more times during the 10 shows I attended on their North American MAYDAY TOUR and ERROR WORLD TOUR. Aside from their music, they are just normal, sweet, intelligent, and fun-loving young ladies who are truely grateful and endearing to their fans. I think I commented on this before, but I thought I'd drop back in with a few 'notes'. Jeff, have you noticed that Dany, Pau, and Ale's English diction is SO good in most of their music vids, that they rarely even need subtitles to understand what they're saying? However.. there's ONE exception to the rule when they were shooting this video, and it's at 4:41 when Pau says, 'Non-believers start running', and it comes out sounding like 'Numberly Garfs start running!'🤣 Once you hear it, you can't UNHEAR it, and I think Dany even wrote it down somewhere because she thought it was so funny!😄 So if you see some commenters tagged with #Numberly_Garfs that's what it's referring to.😉👍

Great reaction I recommend you react to this video from the band that inspired Metallica to form in 1981 this band formed in 1976 and Metallica has covered many of their songs. Diamond Head - The Coffin Train animated version not the studio check the lyrics gave me goosebumps they get along with the video and the world today you will enjoy it.

@@garyblair3033 This was only the first reaction I’ve done for The Warning. I like to do music videos to start with for new bands because it helps me to see their vision more fully. This particular music video looked amazing so I thought I’d start with it first even though they may have newer and older videos. I aim to find a first video that grabs my attention the most so I can form a stronger attachment to the band. I’ve experienced trying live videos as a first video but they sometimes feel like coming into the middle of a movie. I’m not as emotionally invested. That seems to work because now I can’t wait to see more and especially their live performances! Sorry if I came off too strong with my response, sometimes I get really pushy commenters on my channel but I can see I misread that with you. ❤️

@Stratele Studios not pushy. It just amazing that these girls were that good that young. Fortunately, their parents were supportive and kept them grounded and disciplined. (To practice). They did not shove. They fortunately had the financial means to help better. Mother is a dentist, and dad is a civil engineer. They are not musicians, though. Their dad sold a vintage motorcycle to get them equipment and build the home studio (The Cave) I was trying to relay that the videos done after their garage band days. The "XXI Century Blood" video won awards. And they were all still teens. One rector said he had never really complemented a group, but this one really was totally accurate. You kinda expect older people to kick a little ass. But Lars Ulrich said "Pau kicks maximum ass". 2014 "Enter Sandman".

Their studio is awesome but they are better live. They hit the stage at energy 11 and goes up from there. A wall of sound. The next legit super group
