I just have to say I highly highly HIGHLY recommend Lissom! It is a project between Ed tullett/Lowswimmer (who worked on this song) and Julian Marchal. I can’t express how absolutely stunning their songs are!! I have been listening to them for over a year and I feel the songs continually get better the more I listen to them, which I have never felt before. It’s hard to recommend specific songs but the first one I listened to was your name and I believe it’s their most popular. Although I also really adore Mascaron, Lowry, doppelgänger, and one and the same.

So nice to see this video randomly. Hailaker is one of the most beautiful creations of the last decade. The emotion and counterpoint Jemima controls throughout all of their songs is so genuine and lovely. Your reaction felt that same way!

This was the first song I'd heard by Hailaker so many years ago. Us longtime loyal fans have waited 4+ years and Ed and Jemima have treated us to two new Hailaker songs recently: "Lorely" and "Gist." Both are gaining a lot of new ears and attention 💚💙💜 "Readout" is always going to be a song locked in my heart. Highly recommend (:

This was my request - I hope I didn't sell it too hard, but I had a feeling you'd like it :) Hailaker (hay-ull-ache-err) is the project of Ed Tullett and Jemima Coulter. It's really something special, isn’t it? Other tracks I like are "Coma/Smoke," "Bathe" and "Famous." Both Ed and Jemima have their own solo projects, as well. If you want to check out some of Jemima's solo stuff, I like "(flowers)". Ed's solo stuff is under the name Lowswimmer; I like "Greenlit," "Like A Giant" or "Airlock" (which has a video). None of these are songs that are going to maximize the views, mind you, but if you liked "Rainmaker," these all exist in the same universe. With two Hailaker albums, three Lowswimmer albums, one Jemima album, and a number of singles and side projects, there's a lot to explore.

Jeff, you have spread so much joy by sharing music that obviously touches you and in turn, it opens new pathways to musical enjoyment to those of us lucky enough to have found you. Your understanding and appreciation for music is viral and I consider you as the premier KZbin reactor. I found you shortly after discovering Dirty Loops and immediately turned to you as an avenue for finding other amazing artists such as Valarie Stepenoff, Jacob Collier, and most recently, Ren and the Big Push. I grew up in the bay area of California and Tower of Power has always been a source of funky inspiration to me which I know from your comments in past reactions, you also have a deep appreciation for. Although I feel guilty for not having the funds to join any reactors Patreon, I found a feel good song I thought I'd share with you not expecting you to react to it but just in hopes is brings a little enjoyment to you in return. I originally knew this song as my favorite Average White Band tunes although upon further research, i learned it was originally a Quincy Jones written song. I am speaking of the song "If I Ever Lose This Heaven" and the rendition I am referring to is from Vi Jordan and some members of Earth, Wind and Fire. I don't know how to link the video or I would have done that for you. I hope it brings a little bit of joy to your day as you have brought to me many times. Thank you for what you do. You have a positive impact on people from all over the world which when you think about it, is a pretty cool thing.

If you like this checkout Lowswimmer (Ed Tullet), Novo Amor and Jemima Coulter they all kind of work as a collective and play on each others records.
