Next level music and playing… It’s nice to know that young people are still carrying the torch of progression. Yeah, I don’t get the whole tattoo thing either, I’m certainly glad I wasn’t drawn into that when I was young. I have nothing against them, just not for me… Great reaction, you actually seemed Impressed by this.

Just saw them live in Houston. They're incredible. Been listening to them and going to their shows for years now. Everyone is amazed by their new stuff, and for good reason. They are very innovative, but their old stuff should be listened to as well. Glad you checked them out!

Ahh. Never knew you didn’t hear these guys yet. Love their older and heavier stuff. Aviator with Jason Richardson featured is so damn good. A lot of their newer stuff is much different. Odd in some cases with no real genre you could say. Some call it math rock but not sure that applies anymore with how they changed their sound. They all appear as guests on other artists songs and do lots of collaboration work. Glad people like this exist to push music forward.

Give GOAT, 40oz, OD a listen! These dudes are absolutely masters, every one of them. I think they’ve Been around about 10 years now. They have a ton of live play throughs as well that are absolutely mind blowing

I found Polyphia a couple years back ... pre Neck Tattoos ... with the song "G.O.A.T." ... I see the bass hanging on your wall ... YOU WILL LOVE "G.O.A.T." !!! A little more ... 'BASS-CENTRIC', if you will. I think of it this way, most artists write a song specifically with someone in mind using words to communicate their story. I feel like Polyphia are writing music that transcends barriers. Language, race, and culture are irrelevant to the humanity of the emotional response. This music allows each individual who hears it the freedom to evoke a story that is uniquely personal and yet undeniably universal. THAT IS POWERFUL STUFF. This is the kind of thing we need to raise the consciousness of all humanity. Focusing on the things we all have in common and that make us individual at the same time. Sorry friend I get typing and the shit pours out ... LOL Anyway welcome to the 'Polyphia Rabbit Hole' ... Every song is just another shade of excellence ...
