I am glad you listened to that song. It's my favorite. It was after Priscilla and Elvis got divorced. Sure he got engaged to others but never got over Priscilla. I just loved watching their home videos. I know they had true love not matter what the other girls say. I believe at this point he wishes he had changed his ways. I would have love to see them have more children. If you like that song. He has a CD called Love Letters from Elvis. One song that is so beautiful is called "this is our dance" you should listen to that as well.

Good lord if I would have been in Priscilla’s place I don’t believe I could have sat through that song without crying my eyes out. So powerful. Heart wrenching to listen to. I believe Elvis really loved her and he never got over losing her.

Fantastic! Thanks for putting an extra emphasis on Jerry and Ronnie. Ronnie is hard to miss, even for ar "regular" audience. But we musicians can't stop being at awe at Jerry Scheff at the same time. His bass playing with Elvis in the 70's sometimes is hard to fathom. The King deserved only the best!

What was wonderful about elvis's voice was that when he went high he retained his masculine quality. That's not a very easy thing to do. He never screeched or sounded feminine in order to achieve those high notes. That's also what made most of his songs like this so heartbreaking.

John Pricilla was in the audience when he sang this. He was still trying to get her to come back. That's why when the song starts he put in the "listen Cilla" that parts not on the recording. This is better than the recording as alot of his songs are. I think Red West his bodyguard wrote it as well as Seperate Ways among others.

Who knows who wanted whom back?Elvis told Larry Geller that Priscilla asked from Elvis to get back together as they left the court house. Sure he had regrets but he valued his freedom more.We mostly have Priscilla's side to the story, likely to save face. She is alive and says many questionable things. We do not have Elvis' side to the story or nit, but Elvis said marriage wuth Priscilla was a trial run and she was more like a suster to him. There are many kinds of love. His lover interest apparently had ended. He was mostly upset because the world knew she left him, especially for one making only 25 k a yr...

Well personally even though I know red helped Elvis write a few songs like I believe this a Christmas song I'll be home I wish that everyday was like Christmas that was the name of it but Red and Sonny are the ones that wrote that book Elvis what happened to let the world know that he did have an addiction problem I'm sure some people but if you're not used to being in the around people that do drugs you don't guess it most people automatic pick think the top superstars of the time did and a lot of them did but I just never I was too young and innocent I guess it to ever think of Elvis and drugs which it don't bother me I understand completely how he could have got addicted with lifestyle he had to live and never ever seem to get in too much of a vacation or break but they betrayed him I guess for the book but got a steady to do it because he couldn't stand to hurt anyone's feelings occasionally would he fire one of them heat I'm right back in a few days but they called him on his private line it's been played on KZbin before where Elvis ask them you're not using a private land to call me already I mean I'm guess he knew he was on his private line he just didn't know that they were recording him but still they made money off of him after his death so had no use for red no matter how many songs he collaborated with Elvis arseniy Redwood High School with Elvis Sunny come along later and introduced was introduced to Elvis at a skating rink one night when he would rent the skating rink for all night and that's how sunny got in with Elvis and was part of the Memphis Mafia Hammond dreadbolt practically all of the mafia and a lot of the people made it through the new millennium probably almost the first 20 years in the New Millennium and they all started dying off I know James Burton to get tires to still alive Ronnie touch as far as I know is still alive he went on to play with Neil Diamond for about 7 years after Elvis's death I know Jerry Schilling who was an original Elvis Memphis he quit early in the game and went on to get in the movie business who what you got interested in while Elvis was making his movies but yes I've been invited for the seller was the love of his life no one can tell me any different I know loved him not Ann-Margret who I know love them and not Ginger Alden I know Elvis was a womanizer but I still think that Elvis loved her and she was the one to walk out on him first I don't believe anybody else walked out on him first even though he filed for the divorce she cheated on him but my God how many times did he cheat on all his equipment I loving Boston all AKA Elvis Junkie that last part sounded crazy what I was trying to say is I don't know how that came up but I was trying to say I know Elvis was a womanizer they look how many times he cheated on Priscilla you had to read Priscilla and Elvis or Elvis and Priscilla to get her side of the story you know there's three sides to a story your side my side the right side if I sound crazy it's not me it's just my crazy microphone I guess I'll have to start going back to Texas I am from Texas but I'm not going back there I said go back to texting

John I would like you to play they say it's from Madison Square Gardens but also thing it come thanks it comes out the Elvis on tour CD it's a live version of lawdy Miss Clawdy and your friend Ed Enoch is in the picture really good along with another's other stamps and his favorite of the black girls think her name is Mary something and the white girl the only white girl the really high voice their standing there together and see everybody really play Glen Harden on the piano really getting it you don't see James Burton so much but you see John Wilkerson the Rhythm guitarist which nobody ever calls his name I mean when Elvis would introduce the ban of course he would introduce John is his rhythm guitarist but his position must have been special to be Uptown stage next to James so wasn't anybody ever give him any credit for anything I have often wondered that and I think you would really enjoy because of an Enoch you would enjoy it I'm sure it's a really good version especially saying all these people you know whether close AKA Elvis junkie that's my request that I'll be bugging you for Thai hear it hey sings lawdy Miss Clawdy on the 68 Comeback Special but still this is more special and Madison Square Garden he has on a blue suit with a cape I wish there was some way you could get access to more songs from the 68 Comeback black leather most handsome man I've ever laid eyes on suit Laura Zara I said Laura look at the differences who came up with that microphone

Say that Margaret didn't leave an option option to apply to her back about her remarks on Elvis and Priscilla Dolly Parton said in a couple years back that she had was talkin with Priscilla and Priscilla told her they were talkin about when Elvis wanted to record I Will Always Love You with Dolly but the colonel wanted fifty percent of the earnings on it and Dolly said she couldn't do that she doesn't pay that much out in Aurora Oasys with someone that doesn't duet with her they get there she has to have her family catalog anyway Priscilla told her she said yeah when we were coming down the courthouse Steps Elvis leaned into me and started singing I Will Always Love You So everybody who don't really know both sides of the story as my dad said three sides of the story for silicide Elvis side in the right side but he was a big old womanizer it's probably when he got old if he'd lived the Ben and I will man ready to settle down it would have been with Priscilla she never remarried I'm on a crazy microphone that doesn't pick up what I'm trying to say but what I was trying to say there is for suicide Elvis's side and the right side but if he ever got to the point Priscilla asked him to get off the drugs trying to get off the drugs and it she would come back to him this is a couple years later after divorce but he took he told her he couldn't she didn't want to go through all of that again all the women and not knowing if he's fixing to take his left breath right there with her in the room AKA Elvis Junkie

Unglaublich schönes Lied und die Wahnsinnsstimme von Elvis 👏👏👏 Priscilla war im Publikum. Elvis sagte: "Listen Cilla", weil sie sich mit einer Freundin unterhielt und nicht zuhörte.

You cannot listen to this man and not feel the emotion in his voice his talent is unprecedented... No other performer like him. Jerry Lee Lewis a close second. Both these southern men wer, and still remain the best ever in all time.

I bought the record first day of issue. The single was Promised Land and It's Midnight was the flip side. Side B. I still have both the Single and Promised Land Album.

John's I am so proud that you finally played my favorite song I found it a long time ago on KZbin and it said it's midnight( rare Cilla she was in the audience that night I want to download went on with Elvis dialogue and the fact that she had just bought him that night $160,000 white Rolls-Royce and Drake and been returned I'm trying to say in return he bought her a black studs a car a very interesting sweet conversation too long to put down here but when the album came out which I haven't heard and I'm not sure which one it was I just know he doesn't say Cilla on the album so if I say it's midnight and it doesn't have rare Scylla I don't listen I think every word he said and that song was for her the love of his life I don't care what anyone else says have more than three words for you AKA Elvis Junkie I believe the car that he bought her is spelled Stutz and as I've probably already said the song on the album does not mention Cilla I will go to Google to find out what album that songs on but he doesn't mention seller that's the only one time he did on stage while she was present I've listened to it over and over and over and imagining that he is singing to her not me I've never been that silly I might have screamed and hollered at a movie or something but I've never been excised about Elvis and myself haha really know I happened haven't microphones not helping me much John and I've had my cataract surgery I have 20/20 in one eye and nearsighted in the left eye so now I have to have glasses so maybe I'll get better maybe I can actually start texting and misspelling although I feel like I'm enunciating these words right they coming out crazy sometimes but you know I'm not crazy I might be getting there to getting all timers no not really but maybe a little bit of dementia but I'm hanging in there and everyday I check John Gibson out first thing looking for an Elvis song but I do like your work you're going to really be special in the future to come for them Generations under me Laura
