“That was cute!” Izzy is undoubtedly the cutest part of the movie. Even those who dislike the movie still have nothing bad to say about Izzy, she’s just absolutely adorable and this song definitely highlights that to a certain degree
@sillyface69503 жыл бұрын
As adorable as she is, she did nearly walk off a cliff because of a butterfly. And she doesn't have magic or pinkie logic or anything else to save her. She was lucky to have sunny there. Its generally surprising that she made it all the way to mare time bay in one piece.

If you still want songs from the prev generation, I reccomend Cutie Mark Crusaders Anthem! Not because it is good but because it's bad, ON PURPOSE. I still find joy in listening to it and wonder what you as a musician would think.
@Tennouseijin3 жыл бұрын
It's bad and good at the same time, like how they managed to make a song that's both cute, designed to sound bad, yet still enjoyable, and full of references too. Imagine 3 little fillies doing a Bohemian Rhapsody reference, and that's just the visuals. Fun fact - in the Japanese dubbing, they apparently use masculine pronouns and language that in anime is associated with teenage delinquents, to get the 'cuties attempting to sound badass' effect xD
@hiccy69273 жыл бұрын
The only thing that still bothers me about that song is Scotaloo's voice. Was she supposed to be a good singer or bad singer? It was very inconsistent throughout the show.

And her voice is just as amazing, if not MORE amazing in that show! I'd love to see you react to some more of the music from it (preferably with the accompanying clip as it adds SO much more emotional weight to the pieces) I highly recommend "Who is she" and "The Nowhere King". The actual song from the soundtrack is a bit longer, as per usual with movie edits haha (about 2 minutes instead of 1 :17) It was a cute song for as short as it was. I preferred the animation during this song more than the song itself though; there are so many subtle, adorable interactions. (Izzy almost falling off a cliff because she was too distracted by the butterfly, Izzy pointing in the wrong direction because the map was upside down, etc)

I have to recommend A Sky Without Moon And Stars from the Winx club. It’s short and simple, but carries a lot of emotions. Here is the cannon background to the song. Musa’s father was a songwriter who couldn’t get one done. Musa’s mother was a well known opera performer and one day they bumped into each other and through the night Musa father finished the song in time for her to listen to it. They fell in love and soon had Musa. Although the enjoyment wasn’t going to last. Musa’s mother fell ill and no doctor could save her. When the death happened her father went into a rage and destroyed all the instruments and band music. When Musa became the right age she tricked her father into letting her go to Alfea college for fairies. By the time he found out it was too late and Musa had runaway intending to be a music fairy. The song is the climax of the story. It carries a lot of emotions for only being 1 minute and 30 seconds long. And with a distorted piano note along with distorted guitar. You will be crying after this song.
