Hi lovely people, one thing that I also wanted to say but didnt in the video is the fact that getting slower is a very critical thing to do live. I dont know if vlad and the other musicians have a metronome running in their headphones, but because of the fact that they change the tempo during the song makes it likely that they dont have a metronome on their headphones. If this is the case, that could mean that they played the whole song WITHOUT a click. If this is the case....... Then i am lost for words...because the rest of the video and their whole image sounds like they play with a click.... Anyway just wanted to mention that. Thank you for your comments and your feedback, it really makes me so happy! Stay healthy 🎉🎉🎉
@Module79L3 жыл бұрын
Vlad's click track (or metronome, if you will) comes from the laptop that's right beside him, he can have two different click tracks with different tempos programmed for each song. Or three. Or four. : )

I was very surprised when you said you were a drummer after I saw the 3 guitars in scene haha... There's something so special about musicians reacting to other musicians, I just feel it. When you made that classical music comment I was instantly a big fan, and definitely subscribing.
@vanlepthien67683 жыл бұрын
I'm glad you made the comment about "classical". They are more like a quartet than most bands. I also see a lot of their songs as having movements, not just verses and choruses.

Point is they originallly played that song with a second Guitarist which left the band because he couldn`t cope anymor with thier stuffed schedule. So for this (and other older songs of them) they had to rearrange and Eugene, the bassist, took over some of the guitar`s stuff by additional tapping and so on.

Vlad's drumming & Eugene's prominent-yet-still-tasteful bass work mesh together so well. Things never get boring with these two!... & so tight live, which I'm sure comes from playing 100+ shows per year until the lockdown bullsh1t started. For me, they are the best rhythm section alive right now. And all the jazzers who just laughed at me saying that- don't bother writing me out a list of amazing jazz / fusion players.... I'm aware. The composition, arrangement, & super-tight performance of Vlad & Eugene creates interesting-yet-still-accessible music.... which is why they get my vote. :)
@corvusbonehand14153 жыл бұрын
Jinjer is Legend. Tati and the whole Band is brilliant but I'm always especially surprised by the Bass, so excellent, so amazing. Ach ja machst das doch gut mit dem reaction Kram. Hör doch mal in was etwas anderes rein. Kennst du z.B. Crimson Ghosts - don't follow or nearly free, The Other - We're all dead or a party at Crystal lake, Bloodsucking Zombies from outer space - Vienna calling or Radio active. Gute Mucke aus Deutschland, hör mal rein. Greetz aus dem Norden, Corvus
@j.f.fisher53183 жыл бұрын
Having superb and prominent bass helps fill out their sound. They considered recruiting a replacement for their former rhythm guitarist, but decided to go with more complex lead guitar work and Eugene filling in the space with the higher range of his 5-string bass, and even occasionally taking lead. This is very different than the original album version recorded with 2 guitars, and while I can't recommend reacting to it, it is worth comparing the two.

Subbed a couple of videos ago and hit the bell after this reaction. You're a perfect example of why I prefer seeing musicians, music teachers and in general anyone with musical knowledge react to Jinjer. Of course Tatiana is amazing and deserves every bit of credit she gets, but so often the talent the rest of the band has, is overlooked. Any of their songs you've already reacted to, I would highly suggest looking up 'playthroughs' for those songs, just to watch on your own. They have quite a few and all are worth the time. Great reaction, thank you!

Do you know Sumo Cyco? Or Babymetal? I saw Jinjer about a year ago or so, and Sumo Cyco opened for them. And, according to the crowd, they blew Jinjer out of the water. Out of all 4 bands, Sumo had the most people in front of the stage, half the people left during Jinjer. That is crazy. The singer for Sumo Cyco, named Skye Sweetnam opened for Britney Spears, and they tried to push her into the pop scene, but she was like no, I like metal. You can tell if you listen its in between metal and pop. Very underrated group. Even sounded more heavy in person than Jinjer, and Skye controlled the crowd like I have never seen and I have seen Ozzy. Babymetal, has some of the most bad ass musicians in metal around today, and somehow they have girls singing in K-pop and some metal, and it fits. A band from Japan. CRY MURDER (Official Music Video) - Chapter 3 - SUMO CYCO kzbin.info/www/bejne/oXu2ZodnfsqIqsk this is one of the newer songs from October BABYMETAL - BxMxC (OFFICIAL) more rappy than normal, but its in Japanese. People that never heard Babymetal get their minds blown every time. kzbin.info/www/bejne/pJibnptsf7p8p7s Try the band Spiritbox - Holy Roller, one of their newer ones I like a lot. Spiritbox - "Blessed Be" (Official Music Video) this one is probably more popular kzbin.info/www/bejne/r5nXYYp6md96gK8
