Hi again, Wave Potter. I love this instrumental interlude to this concert. So much fun while Floor is doing her costume change. Note that she had to run out on stage for the next song and barely snatched her mike in time to start singing since she had a bit of a costume malfunction back stage (I think a stuck zipper). Anyway, loads of fun and thank you for this reaction.

Troy only played Uilleann (elbow) pipes and whistle in this one. Plays bouzouki in a few including with E-bow in Sahara in Tampa FL, Strumming it in Dead Boys Poem, Electric guitar with E-bow in Kiss While Your Lips are Still Red at Wembley 2015. Low Whistle and Bouzouki in Alpenglow, acoustic guitar in Planet Rock versions of How's The Heart and Nemo. Plus some of the recent concerts and also sings backing. To name a few. LOL

I read somewhere that if you give Troy an unknown musical instrument and a couple of hours, he'll work out how to play it. Completely mastering it may take a bit longer, at least a day. 😅 btw a trait he shares with Miyako from Lovebites, who is a maestro on both guitar and piano, but can also play bass and drums, and violin. Multi instrumentalist prodigies of our time.

Those are not "normal" bagpipes. The Scottish bagpipes have a pipe to blow air into the bag, the air of the Uilleann pipes (out of Ireland and played here) is provided with a small set of bellows on the waist that is controlled by the arm. But to be fair, even when I knew that they were different, I had to look up how the air was getting into the bag for the Uilleann pipes. And I wouldn't have known if I didn't watch Nightwish reactions a couple of years ago before diving into the whole Japanese scene.
