This song doesn’t get the love from the reaction community, thank you for doing this reaction! A snapshot of the band pre Josh ✌️

To my knowledge, the autotune was a stylistic choice - giving his voice a ‘robotic’ and ‘cold’ tone. That might not be completely accurate, but that’s what I’ve seen.

Isn't that little 'you are' at the end so charming?

This video makes me realize we owe a debt of gratitude to 3 of Tyler’s friends who were involved: Chris Salih, Nick Thomas, and Mark Eshleman. They put themselves out there and supported Tyler’s experimental music and performance ideas. In this video we see Chris (who was the link to Josh Dun) on drums, and Nick on bass. I believe this was the first video Mark made of the band, and he is still the creative content director. (You can see him in the Oldies Station video placing a pvc pipe on the back of the guy who is facedown in the snow.) if you want to see a recent appearance of Nick and Chris look at the Banditos with torches in the Navigating video.

I LØVE, LØVE, LØVE this version!!!! It's such a wonderful snapshot of Tyler's style. You can hear so much of what TØP would become in this one. Some may not like the autotune, or dismiss/misunderstand the use of it bc he can sing, but I think it is a perfectly fitting and well executed artistic choice. He's not trying to cover up his singing, I believe he uses it purposefully. It highlights the differences between love or caring and being cold and distant or robotic. It's a great stylistic choice. It mirrors the detachment expressed in the lyrics, and the title for that matter. And Tyler counters with those raw, emotion-filled screams. I just love everything about their interpretation of this already really good song. Yes, he Tyler Josephed this one alright! ❤❤ |-/

I just wanted to say that I love your reactions, I really do, I think it's so cool that I've even learned some technical things about music that I never imagined, you should really react to them on MTV - Unplugged, I think you'll love it! If you want, of course, I'm eagerly waiting for that moment, but anyway, sending you love from Brazil

This is a great cover, but I hate auto tune. His voice is so beautiful, he doesn’t need it.

The vocal effect is too much for me, tbh. But, he was trying something new, i guess.
