Dimash is a music phenomenon. He can sing any genre and his range is out of this world, but what I love more than anything is although I don't understand all the languages he sings in his voice and songs hit right to my heart and soul. He just has the whole package, unbelievable voice, he uses his hands and body to accompany each note if you notice, and he is stunningly handsome. In the beginning I just used to listen to his beautiful voice but now I need to see him perform each song because he just blows you away. Thank you for your great reaction

Thank you for your reaction to Know! I tried to answer your question about "dock" in "Know that love in heaven has a dock". As far as I understood from a dictionary, the Russian word in the song - "причал", may mean literally the place on shore, where boats stay tied or where ships are anchored, or figuratively - a shelter, refuge, retreat. The meaning may be that love brings us to heaven, to a different, happy life. There are other related metaphors in the lyrics, as well: "I do not feel the ground: I'm flying", "Lovers have two wings. Bells in the sky". Russian is not my first language, hope I got it right.

Another epic performance. His use of scatology combined with mid-eastern ululation is just stunning and so distinctly Dimash. 'Lovers in heaven have a dock' -- a hitching place, or place to be tethered perhaps. I love the 'Know that loves have 2 wings' --- shared wings as they soar? Not sure but this seems a lovely sentiment to me. This young man gives everything he has in every single performance. Peerless!

Thanks Nina! I love this song. Written by Igor Krutoy, performed with no vocals by Lara Fabian. Added russian vocals by Gutsierev its called Know/Znaj. Sometimes Dimash doesn't seem to have the right to perform it with lyrics but he does the vocalize-version and I franly love it as much. Esp when he adlib. Please continue with Love is Like a Dream. War and peace from his current tour is also great. As some others already have pointed out stay away from Singer as long as Hunan is running the new season and the go hard for copyright-strikes. You are the first reactor I've heard say they heard scat. I thought the same thing when I heard it. He's supposed to perform in a Jazz festival on his birthday in Japan. Hopefully it won't be canceled. Keep reacting to Dimash. BTW...when he sings this freestyle it's a brand new song. Most of my favorite performances of this song are when Igor is NOT playing. I think Dimash feels more free to improvise when Igor isn't involved.

Hi! I can see my favorite song changes.. For a long time it was "sinfull passion" with no breathing in about 25 sec.. and then "Adagio" soo beautiful.. Then I fell in love (of course) in "Marigold" an old ukrain folksong, soo tender and it is a gratitude to our mothers. "Your love" will be on the top, always. He gives us everything in that song. "Ogni pietra", all I can say is Wow! My fav for a long time, on my mind day and night! The drama, the vibe, the power, lyrics. Everything perfect olympico song! But the only song that gave tears in my eyes was "love of tired swans".. Actually it is hard to choose ONE song.. I am very impressed by "show must go on" by Queen, the way he makes it his own. Dear Nina, while Singer is running through April stay away from his songs from Singer to avoid problems, which leaves a lot to choose from. I have told you about the Piano player Igor Krutoy joining Dimash to compose songs for him. This New Wave is Igor's annual festival where he sang both new songs Ogni Pietra & Passione & others including this reworked Igor song, after this Dimash filmed a music video for this song. You can avoid any copyright problems if you use videos from the channels Gloria Wu or Dimash Kudaibergen. If you would have watched after this song he told the audience he was happy because it was his sister Raushan's 18th birthday, then Igor's granddaughter was lifted onto the stage to give Igor a hug & a kiss. It is always best to wait & make sure he is done. Good example is Love Is Like A Dream.

Nina, you are absolutely right. The English translation is not complete because it doesn’t depict meaning of the sentences, but direct word-by-word almost dictionary translation. The part that says ‘love has a dock at the heaven’ actually means - ‘there is a place for the love at the Heaven.’

Dimash in his incredible musical education, has a degree in Jazz and Contemporary Vocals as well as one in Classical Music and Operatic Vocals, he has done a Master Class in Broadway Musicsks, is about to finish his Masters degree in Composition and will then apply to do his doctorate. So yes that was scat singing, he does is s lot. In fact he has sung several versions of this song with no words, just jazz and Kazakh folk vocals 💖

This is one of the songs composed by Igory Krutoy (at the piano) for Lara Fabian some years ago. It was supposed to be a "vocalize" (no lyrics) for Dimash lyrics was added (but it was not planned for the original song). Other old songs composed by Igor and performed recently (2018,2019) by Dimash were: "Love of tired swans" (original performed by Lara Fabian in Russian and French in 2014) performed by Dimaash won him the title "song of the year 2018 " in Russia, "Love is like a dream" composed by Igor 25 years ago (the year Dimash was born) for the renowned Russian singer Alla Pugacheva, "Mademoiselle Hyde" created by Igor and Lara Fabian, for Lara Fabian, and "Know" . Recently Igor started to compose exclusively for Dimash: "Ogni Pietra - Olympico" the song won the "Victor Annual Prize 2019" in Russia in the category of classical music, where Dimash "won the competition" with all the female and male Russian opera singers, and "Passione". @Eurasian smarter than you Lara Fabian and Igor Krutoy wrote the song called Vocalise, with no lyrics.It has the same melody. Lara just vocalised throughout the song. It's found on her album Mademoiselle Zhivago released in 2010. Lyrics written by a poet were added to Dimash's version, name changed to Know.
