Chan did this with a neck injury. There was meant to be a backflip, but he landed on his head and sprained his neck during practice, so they changed the choreo.

The neck injury also paralyzed half his body but luckily they were able to get it back

Oo was it meant to be where they pick him up and he jumps up a bit cause Jackson used to do that move with a backflip and I remember noticing it when this first came out. I thought they just took it out, I didn’t realize it was cause he got injury. Glad he healed up tho!

I think Chan hurt his neck practicing a backflip and so he was quite heavily injured while performing this dance battle sequence - which is why he didn't do the flip in the actual battle. But you can hardly tell he was injured cuz...he's crazy like that XD

I think their rap and dance performances during these battles already showed their team color and identity so well. Playful, Hip-hop, powerful and hardcore, skillful, talented with brilliant idea and deap understanding and smart execution of what they currently have and what the fortes are as a team and each member Glad that more and more people noticed their talent and devotion in music and love them and their music ❤

I was so in awe with this that I have it saved. I watch it from time to time. I am not sure if Chan created this track or if he pieces together samples and such. It is a precursor for what SKZ became in the future (arrangement, choreo, and stage presence). They are talented, playful, creative, and have incredible teamwork. Here they were so young like a bunch of cubs; bouncy, full of energy and “I dare you” attitude.

IMO their choreo was much more versatile here than the YG dancers (who did an amazing job, themselves. They were just so focused on the hard dancing that they didn't show any other dance skills in this particular performance.)

Fyi,,this episode is the most memorable at the same time saddest part as we know Stay,,Chan said in his chans room that he supposed to flip backwards but😢😢 they chabge d choreo..

He injured his neck that he can't move coz of wrong actions(by backflip),he said that he feels numb in his neck part all d way hisbody..after dat episode he went to see doctor lucky him they treat it .😢❤❤im so proud of Him
