Yes, he actually did have tears in his eyes. (There is a behind-the-scenes video). He said it was the bridge where his vocals sound like wailing. He actually held back the tears because, he said, “it would not make the song more sad.” To me, that means, even in the moment he knew, part of the torture of the song is someone holding on to something. 💔 As opposed to Journey and the line “when the tears fill my eyes, I can cry.” A letting go song. ❤️‍🩹 PS Yes, the violins are real.

I have recently attended one of his concerts and I swear, if he sounds amazing in this, he is so, so, so much more amazing live. Goosebumps when he performed this. WOODZ is one of a kind. I recommend watching him live live!

I was waiting for y'all to react to this. This is my favorite song on the album and the live clip made me cry. Woodz' emotion in his voice and music is so incredible. The way his music makes me feel is the reason I listen to music.

I know I am late but around the time drowning come out Woodz had a world tour. I attended and wow, the live band was amazing, his vocals was great. He was the closest i've been to an idol and I swear I saw stars surrounding him. I knew he was handsome but didn't focus on that before since I jus listen him to his music but in person he was really majestic, which caught me off guard. Bro skin was glowing. To be honest I didn't know much about Woodz but his music and after the concert I found out he was in season 4 of Produce 101 where he did debut in the group X1. I was really shocked because I was a fan of X1 song 'Flash' in middle school and ended seeing him during my college year.

He is amazing 😂 in his new mini album there is a song called busted i really recommend that one. Also he was a rapper before all this so i recommend his song called recipe ft flowsik (it has an mv he used his old stage name luizy with that)
