Thanks for hearing WOODZ through your hearts. 🧡💙 But can I add to your thinking about "Memories"? When you said "B&B" was the more direct fan song--I don't think so. In X1 aftermath, "Memories" is a song written for grieving fans whose group was stolen from them. With no place to put their love, all they have left is memories. In the bitterness of the moment, Seungyoun reminds fans of the past's sweetness, and that they can play those sweet moments back. He honors fans' sadness, shares their sadness, and gently guides them through their grief. There is no more attentive (attuned, thoughtful, care-ful) fan song than this. But I was so moved by some of your insights! Your comments about the sound of the live piano and directness of the production made me realize, Seungyoun mixed this to make MOODZ feel like he's in the room, sitting right next to them. And especially your explanation of the closing line "turn on the orange light," how its polite expression was more of a suggestion, like "try turning on the orange light and I'll appear." Both of those details are WOODZ telling his fans, I'm still here with you. It's gonna be ok. Thank you so much. I didn't think it was possible to love this song more, but you did that.

Just saw him in concert and it was absolutely incredible, best concert I’ve been to - the energy was crazy, he performed and worked the audience so well, and it was so cool hearing the band arrangements of some of his more rnb tracks. Also got to hear the unreleased track Amnesia, in which he played guitar - he just announced it’s coming out on the 18th, so look forward to that! If you can make the New York stop, do try to - I know there are tickets left and it’ll be phenomenal.

The guitarist he tours with is actually Hoho, his close collaborator for many of his songs, and he (and the rest of the band!) killed it. Just insane talent all around. Woodz really is better live!

Wow, I never really dived deep about the song Memories, I sometimes cant listen to it because of the feelings it invokes but hearing you explain the lyrics as korean speakers wow the lyrics are even well-made than what I originally thought Edit: not sure if you already did, but please react to Hope To Be Like You (same album) it has been one of my favorite Woodz song.
