Original from Cuernavaca, Morelos, Mexico. Son of a seamstress and merchant. His birthplace and family are the root of his creativity: weaving, markets, townspeople, and regional music. Although he has had great success in the fashion industry, the backbone of Mancandy is music. ‪@BadBunnyPR‬ ‪@jbalvin‬ ‪@Maluma_Official‬ and others, have all been dressed by MANCANDY with his “genderless” concept that has made him an icon in the LGBTQ+ scene. Vogue awarded him the “Who’s on next” Recognition from Mexico and Latin America, and by the words of Vogue LatAm, “MANCANDY is an ‘intrepid’ artist who defies all limits.” “Gaygional Mexicano” is MANCANDY’s movement to connect the Regional Mexicano with the LGBTQ+ community. ‪@rosapistolaoficial‬ “I think reggaeton is going to continue conquering the entire world,” Rosa shared on ‪@ResidentAdvisor‬ podcast. The Colombian DJ and producer calls Mexico City home where she is already an established star; however, she is well on her way of becoming an international name touring cities worldwide. When ‪@highsnobiety‬ asked her about her playlist, she replied: “My playlist is all ghetto songs, because well I live in the ghetto so that’s how I feel my surroundings. The songs talk about police, the rush of the cities, corruption, sex, guns, smoking weed, and fighting to live a better life.” Her unique high energy sets highlight both underground and experimental music, which have allowed her to shift the sounds of Mexico, along with her punk style, and mission for spreading the sounds of Latin music. She has participated in the first reggaeton Boiler Room alongside DJ Playero and in 2018, she played at the Sónar festival in Barcelona, and was also one of the first reggaeton DJs to appear at the EDC Mexico festival. She has performed with renowned Latin American artists such as Molotov and Santa Fe Klan. In 2021 she started her own record label, La Chekera REC
‪@djsuenno‬ is a Mexican DJ and Underground Reggaeton Producer. He has worked with the likes of ‪@DaddyYankee‬ ‪@KaydyCain‬ ‪@NickyJamTV‬ and others. His passion for mixing music began in 2006 and he is currently a reference for the urban genre in the center of the country. Co-founder and artist of Perrero heavy (along with DJ Krizis and Rosa Pistola), former official DJ of ‪@bigmetraofficial‬ , DJ of ‪@Missnina‬ and ambassador of the native instruments brand. He has performed at Mexican festivals such as Coca Cola Flow Fest, Ceremonia, SUDA, EDC, Pal Norte and outside of Mexico in cities such as Guatemala, Bogota, Cali, Medellin, Madrid, Barcelona and more.
