I'm totally sold on this. The ability to load my own sounds into it put me over the edge on this. Definitely a must-have for me, I can't envision a future without it.

Richard Williamson Did you buy it? Im a finger drummer with my MPC but Im seriously considering updating to something more expressive like this. Is it as good as it seems?
@richrokk9 жыл бұрын
aikighost I didn't yet, but I will be buying it in the next few months. I had to prioritize some purchases and this one fell below a couple of other things I have to replace but if you spend a good fifteen to twenty minutes on one I'm pretty sure it'll make your future purchase list. The responsive feel is way better than anything like it and once any finger percussionist experiences some of the ways it will handle loaded sounds it feels absolutely necessary to add it to your setup.

Funny you asked,I wound up purchasing the Handsonic 10 and oddly enough it arrives tomorrow. The deal I got on it was way too good to pass up and since I can easily connect via midi to so many other sound sources it made sense. I'll still wind up buying the 20 at some point though.

+Richard Williamson its very expansive the HPD 20 , is that the reason why you went on the old one? I'm thinking about buying the HDP20, but price is not about to drop anytime soon

The fact that you can't tell what sounds are on which pads is a glaring oversight! C'mon Roland get it together!

I own 2 HPD-10's and some vintage gear. Roland will never get another dime of my money. They used to be a great company that cared about their customers. So much has changed.

+Pierre-Olivier McConnell Are you 12? I just don't like to see other people scammed. Roland is not the company they once were.
@Keenaid28 жыл бұрын
+jcbacongrease That's the most ridiculous thing I've ever heard lol. Roland is one of the highest end brands, if not the highest, in electric and digital percussion products and their technology and products gets better every year. Yamaha, Alesis, Simmons, and other big brands aren't even on the same level in this market.
@jcbacongrease8 жыл бұрын
+Keenaid2 I felt the same way until I had my experience. Roland treated me great for a lot of years. I had a personal connection with the company for a while. About a year after my guy retired, this is when I saw a side of Roland that quite frankly reminded me of the folks at Alesis. I hope things change at Roland as they have been a great company for so long. For now, I am certainly done with them.
