How to make a marimba part 4 of 4

I loved the work you do at Music in Africa. It is enriching. I am interested in making marimbas for a social project where I live. Could you provide the measurements of the parts that are used in the videos?

Awesome! Purchased an 8 note marimba quite some time ago and love its sound. Unfortunately, the resonating bars are attached by a length of rubber surgical tubing using staples. The tubing acts as an isolator as well as holds the bars to a groove in the frame. It sounds better than many marimbas I have come across up until the rubber breaks down and turns to mush. This happens within a year where I live. Re-stapling a new piece of tubing effects both the tuning and will compromise the integrity of the wood at some point. Your floating cord system has given me some idea as to how to solve this. What type of cord do you find works best? Any suggestions? Thanks!
