Thank you so much for these tracks. As a bass player this is invaluable as a practice tool for both improvisation, ear training, and importantly, being able to sit in the pocket. Much more inspiring than a metronome! Yes, the structure of the track is simple, however, that is absolutely what a bass player needs to hone his or her or their feel as part of the rhythm section.

Love this kind of practise for boring finger progressions. I´m a pro/Semipro bassplayer since 50 years back. Got some wrong with my fingers motorin. Got getti´n better with Glucosamine and training with these tracks..Doobie Brothers a song think fits? Guess which.. ;-)

I would assume that Em = E minor, but Em9 means nothing to me let alone B7(#9)

I think it's okay to think of E minor 9 as E minor 7, which contains the 7th sound. B7 is a code whose key is E minor dominant. When playing a solo, I think there is basically no problem with the E minor pentatonic.
