@ Sparta JKD, yes agreed. Example is in the states, USA, lead single for Running In The Family was Lessons In Love. A great start. Received some radio airplay on FM radio however after only MTV in the states played vids for released Songs of RITF Album.

subscribed to your You Tube Channel on feb7th2021.A fan too, from age12 of this group also, I reside in the United States,.Mtv music Television gave the later albums, " Something About You" heavy rotation after it dropped as a new single. The MTV heavy rotation helped level 42 gain exposure as a band. I do admit the True Colors songs are more comfortable.It was World Machine here in the states because of MTV helped the band gain interest in the USA.

My favourite is 'it's Over' but I adore all their songs, Dune Tune, Two Solitudes, Sleepwalking, Two hearts Collide, to be with you again, Starched, Something about You, Lessons in Love, guaranteed, 'Take a look' , the Chinese way and, Overtime, Love games, the chant has begun, Leaving me now x Hot Waterand this one x the list is endless

True Colours is their best album, every song is a banger, no need to skip a single song. I feel this album gets over looked by the "World Machine" album, but I feel this is better. Of course Level 42 doesn't have any bad albums. #Levelhead4life

I think this was one of their best albums. The period before turning more commercial. At this point I think they encountered a fork in the road. Phil Gould is a nice chap, actually responds to messages on twitter. He said people don't realise how hard they worked. Enough said.!

I can’t believe I was 13 when I got the True Colours Album on Cassette.. It was for me the last album before they, not sold out but just upped the tempo and the world noticed the album World Machine and level 42 took off.

@@MusicLoot it's been all of six weeks since taking up two bass guitars. Sure has me appreciating real players of such a fine instrument. My 2nd is my first build. My initial bass is pukka although it's design is mainly for playing while standing upright. I ain't either. Or neither. I've been a wheelchair user for some six years therefore a different approach etc. With build I shall craft a comfy bass. I trust. I met Marc Kings dad when he worked in Albany prison IOW during 80's. Interesting indeed! Are you an admirer of 42 work?

Sounds like you are indeed going to create lemonade from lemons, and I greatly admire that positive attitude you have. BTW, yes...Level 42 is my favorite band of all time, and I have an absolutely massive music collection, everything from rock and blues, to jazz, fusion, funk, soul, metal and electronic. Level 42 stands above everything I own. When I saw that this song wasn't on KZbin in the original studio version, I knew that I just had to upload it.
