@Shplimf This song is a chance to show how my creativity is changing, through everything that I do. I've never been a fan of boring song structures, and if you pay enough attention the song is structured well.

@FidgetyHand Some people choose to record two rhythm parts left and two rhythm parts right to get a bigger guitar sound, but I don't like doing that. That's called quad tracking. On my songs I've only got one rhythm guitar either side. If you mean a lead part plays the same notes as the rhythm but in a higher octave or harmony, then it depends where I'd put it. If it's just a harmony part to the rhythm guitar, I'd just keep it on the other side, if it's an octave overdub it's in the middle.

holy shit, my younger brother and I used to blast this a lot. I ended up buying this on iTunes like I said. Funny thing is, he's been getting into instrumental tunes lately, and this came to mind. Was glad to see it's still up. Time flies, man. Can't believe my comment from 9 years ago is still up haha. Feels like yesteryear.

Bro. I just started an intense program at my college. And I swear I’m stressed. But I come to your videos and really helps me out. The funny thing your music has some emotion to it that differs you from other artist. Sometimes I just come to you and hear YOU and not the vocals of other bands. You’re amazing man! Thank you for your talent. \m/

Open an EQ on your guitar track, add a high pass filter and a low pass filter. Set them quite high and low on each side, I think the high pass was at something like 300Hz, and the low pass was at 5KHz.

@Boneyards0905 I push hard enough so that when I pick them the notes are all clear enough. I also pick quite hard, so that I don't need that much gain, the drive comes from my picking. If I encounter tricky riffs, I break them up into maybe 4 bar segments, practice them individually, and then add them together, one segment at a time.

You(Musicman1066), Killrbuckeye, and Jakwt1991 inspire me and my friends to think up of melodies in metal/crunch tone and want to bring them up as songs of our own.
