Wow! I went to several of their July 4th shows. I am a former hitchhiker and I would make a yearly trip down Highway 81. I even took leave from the army one year. Took the train then!

I learned something new today! I must admit I never listened much of their music until playing Fallout games. Very nice museum there. I know I eventually want to hit up the Woodrow Wilson museum so this would be an added bonus to see. Stellar video!

Staunton has a lot of cool stuff to see. Unfortunately, this exhibit is only temporary. The Statler Brothers used to have their own museum but it closed several years ago. I wish it was still open. Let me know if you make it down. I’ll meet up with you and show you around!

This video was awesome. I’d love to go see that museum. My #1 favorite group. Loved all the suits Harold had designed including Lester “Roadhog” Moran. Lesters vehicle looked like a old milk truck or old delivery truck. That’s funny but Harold was the comedian of the group. All the trophies they accumulated over the years is awesome. Love all the pictures. Lews guitar had a lot of wear on it from the years. The sound system they had back in the 1960’s was antique. Wonder what year their sound system was made? I enjoyed this video from start to finish. They even got their own street named after them that’s cool.

Most of their best stuff never got airplay. The one about Staunton was too local to be a national hit but I bet the Staunton stations wore it out!

Excellent vlog, and I loved hearing the classic vinyl!! ❤ aint no sound quite like it...in my humble opinion😊 I thoroughly enjoyed this and wanted more. Well done Jason👍

I knew you would enjoy this one Rhonda! Some good music by the Statler Brothers. The first song, “Staunton,VA” is a rare recording of theirs ...by my understanding. KZbin didn’t have a copyright for it. lol . Thanks for continuing to watch the videos!

I just noticed on the poster for Lester "Roadhog" Moran and his Cadillac Cowboys the date printed on it is June 31st. Since when is there a June 31st?

My parents did as well. I never really appreciated their music until I got older. This was a temporary exhibit at the Woodrow Wilson Museum. It comes with the standard ticket for Woodrow Wilson Birthplace and Museum. So you got all 3 for one price.
