This may be my favorite one of theirs. There is so much passion in his vocals… the drumming is insane, there are so many guitar parts I wish I could play and others I want to learn. It’s so layered.. my mind is blown. Phenomenal band.
@JesusOfPaign3 жыл бұрын
Yeah this one is a standout, wasn’t sure about it at first, but it might be my favorite single now. The sort of frantic energy and insane energy to the vocals really serves the tone of the track as well. like, this is about a guy whose son is killed and had the chance to bring him back to life via a cursed cemetery, it just feels right to have it be so intense and scary and sad and angry and dark all at the same time.
@Werewolf9143 жыл бұрын
Farewell ii Flesh is my favorite, the use of Helen's Theme from the original Candyman and the Classical song 'Flight of the Bumblebee' is amazing Candyman has one of the best scores of any movie in my opinion and in general I'd say is top 5 best Horror movies (haven't seen the 2021 reboot though I've heard mixed reactions) but Funeral Derangements is probably my 5th favorite. I'd say 1] Farewell ii Flesh 2) Ex Mortis 3) The Shower Scene 4) Take Your Pick 5) Funeral Derangements.

This one is my favorite off of the new album! Fun fact for this one revolves around the truck driver that runs over the little boy. The truck drive is the actor that played gage in the original pet semetary movie. Kinda running over himself. INK even received a lot of positive feedback from the people who made the 2019 pet semetary movie. Another amazing video thanks a ton! See you tomorrow! Oh and I almost forgot to give some insight on Dan. He came from a band called As Blood Runs Black. A much heavier deathcore band. He definitely brings a new dimension to this already very diverse band.

I am SO glad to hear you put so much respect on Patrick, he's OUTSTANDING both as a drummer and as a human being, and once you do a little digging on his social media and realizes that he drums like this with a skin graft on his dang arm and pushes through some real painful nights to go as hard as he does??? Even more amazing.

"Oh my God...GAAAAAAAGE!" That screeching tires noise is allllll Dan. So sick. You NEED to listen to Crystal Lake. Their drummer is ridiculous. Like, machine gun speed double kicks, one-handed fills that shouldn't even be physically possible, crazy shit like that. And Ryo's vocals (Spiritbox redid Holy Roller feat. Ryo and it's insane!) are incredible. STARSET - Bringing It Down, Manifest (Live), Devolution, Something Wicked (the most musically interesting song on the new album; it follows no formula, the lyrics cut deep, and it's absolutely haunting)

@BigDaddyBeefPatty3 жыл бұрын
The fast feet part might be a little heel toe action. Good metal drummers use the heel toe technique to basically double tap the pedal with each stroke of the foot and get insane speed. It's more common in Deathcore. Lorna Shore's Austin Archey is phenomenal at it.
@b4iturn53 жыл бұрын
This most definitely my favorite by them. A close tie with Hip To Be Scared. The drumming and the melody of the chorus soars and is beautiful the lyric “I’ll see you on the other side but I’d kill to bring you back tonight” is so emotional and dark. INK Kills!
@whohawks3 жыл бұрын
INK tells amazing stories with their music alone. The guitar + tire screech is fully conveyed in audio alone. And Spencer, as the father of the story, conveys the anguish and despair of losing a child convincingly. You FEEL what he is feeling because he KNOWS how to tell a story. That is pure magic. And their fully produced music videos ENHANCE their music. You don't need to see them to know what's going on. But they do add to the experience. And that just further expresses this band's story telling chops. David, there aren't videos for The People in the Attic (Diary of Anne Frank) or TESS-timony (Tess of the d'Ubervilles) but dear Lord, the passion INK imbues into each of these is just incredible and very much worth a reaction. If TESS-timony doesn't bring tears to the eyes when they chorus is sung....I question the humanity if that person. Especial that final pre-chorus and chorus. Ugh.

This is one of my favorites as well off this album. I am a drummer, percussionist, pianist. Metal drummers like myself have the chops of a master. Double pedal work and double pedal bass are just as much of a skill as foot work like jazz or Latin. I think it would be either amazing or comical to teach a 5th grade wind or orchestra a song like this. Just recently started watching your stuff. I would like more of your stance on the music. I graduated music and I was surprised you didn't say anything about the parallel (sounded 4ths) in the harmony and how that didn't used to be acceptable. 4ths, 5ths, and octaves. Your channel, but that is what I'd like to see more of
