This song which went viral 4 years ago (when they were 16,17,17,18: now Thry are 20-22) is by The Four Seasons! Then decades later (but still decades ago) it was covered by someone who’s name I don’t remember, but this cover is like that one which had added the “rap” section. Damiano has a great voice and is a natural front man. Can you imagine, they opened for the Stones a few weeks ago! And were nominated for a few and won one award at the European MTV video music awards right after the Stones show. They have a very devoted following and now that they’ve gotten international exposure, they are touring on that hot wave. They write their own songs as well. They are very young and I hope they stay together and grow together. I have watched at least 8 songs both recent and from when they got together in high school. Of course Thry are experimenting with different types of music, and learning.... from folky ballads Damiano has written to quite sexy/sexual punk style songs. I haven’t seen your reaction to I Wanna Be Yiur Dog yet, but that’s a Stooges -Iggy Pop’s band-song from 1969! Garage band? He was the beginning of punk, but several years ahead of the punk scene. To see Mäneskin’s (means moonlight in Danish) talent, see them doing Amy Winehouse’s Back to Black on Victoria’s roof top when they were in high school: no mike no amps. But if you want to react to another of their songs, their other big hit now (their own song) is Momma Mia. It’s 🔥

It’s a cover made for XFactor Italy four years ago when they’re just 16-18. Went viral on tik tok and in USA it’s a huge success. A real Maneskin fan loves their own amazing songs. Watch the winning performance on ESC 2021. You’ll discover the powerful Maneskin!! The song is Zitti e Buoni. By the way, their Italian songs are the best❤️🔥🤟, lirics are strong and poetic.

Beggin is a cover from 4 years ago but they rearranged it a little for the live versions now and is so much better. But their own music is awesome, Coraline, For your love, In nome del padre are 3 songs with totally different vibes and still they sound 100% Maneskin, they are really versatile.

Just adding my two cents if you don't mind..... They recorded the cover of Beggin' in 2017 while they were partecipating to XFactor Italy and it was a very low budget prod the recording is not very good they're not fond of it but luckily after they won the Eurovision this year the track went viral on TikTok and now they've been called to all the major US TV shows and asked to perform just that one!! Of course they are very grateful and luckilynow Damiano is even better with the rapped section that is tough for one not mother tongue english. The version is from the cover done by the Duo Madcon in 2007. Moneskin (correct pronunciation "Mo-o-neskin" as it's a Danish word meaning moonlight) is a band formed in late 2015 by VIctoria and Thomas while they were still in middle school, they recruited Damiano which Victoria knew for having been briefly together in another teen band and then they found Ethan (you're right, Italian pronunciation is Ee--than, i.e. E= your AE) on a Facebook AD for musicians. They started as street buskers and on YT you can find many videos where they play in Rome at Via del Corso, as well as videos of their XFactor audition and all performances. It's amazing how they have grown and improved and it makes me think they'll get better and better since they've totally committed to their project. The EP released while at XFactr in 2017 contained mostly covers performed during the shown as well as a couple of their original songs. The first album "Il ballo della vita" released by the end of 2018 is a mix of various genres while they experimented trying to find an identity for the band, the fil rouge of the songs is the fictional character "Marlena" who embodies their creativity, their passion and is their muse. The second album "Teatro d'ira vol. 1" has been released in March 2021 and it's a rock album with 8 different tracks all different but all very hard with sonorities reminishing of 70/80s classic rock. Iggy Pop contacted them back in July and recorded a version of "I wanna be your slave" with them, I am sure "uncle" Iggy saw himself in them for the way he was talking to them. At the EMA's in Budapest 2 weeks ago they have won "Best Rock" and DJ Gerry from Starlight Nusic attended the Las Vegas Rolling Stones concert with his son and filmed the whole Maneskin and RS acts posting the footage on his website just in case you are interested you can find it on YT. I'm leaving links below of few songs that I like just in case you wish to explore. Really nice reaction, i enjoyed it greatly. If you want to do more Måneskin, I’d have two suggestions: if you want a classic powerful rock piece, a tightly-knit orchestrated song in which all four find a way to shine both individually and as a band, go for For Your Love. If you want to give a try to an Italian song by them, not least because their Italian songs usually have deep and poetic lyrics, go for Coraline, a wonderfully written original and still powerful ballad. this is a random recommendation/ suggestion which you guys may or may not consider doing (but i really think it would be some great exploration into this record and there'd be much to rave about and appreciate) … but I so desperately would love for you to check out Ashton Irwin's music from his debut solo album "Superbloom". Ashton Irwin is the drummer in the band 5 Seconds Of Summer (phenomenal band, amazing people, such gifted talents and so diverse) and also has such INCREDIBLE vocals it blows me away and such a variety of taste in music, inspirations and influences. Such as Metal, Punk, Rock, Contemporary Pop/ Rock, also taking inspiration and influence from artists like Led Zeppelin, John Feldmann, The Police, Portishead, Johnny Cash, Oasis, The Cure, INXS, Muse, Nirvana, Tears For Fears , R.E.M., Marilyn Manson, Foo Fighters, My Bloody Valentine, Helmet, Nine Inch Nails, Slipknot, BMTH and so much MORE! He's a very rock, alternative-based consumer of music. He has a lot of 70's, 80's, 90's influences, and some 2000's influences. He gravitates to a lot of 70's and 90's influences. In his words it consists of quite "a lively, explosive, bombastic type of music with guitar-heavy sonics, and lyrics that are just personal and real". This record is also a collaboration with Matt Pauling who I believe produced, mixed, and arranged strings, they are a very collaborative duo. This record is a very personal project of his that aligns with who he is and in my opinion its outstanding and kind of spectacular. that was a very long description I apologise, but truly hope you guys consider checking him out, he might be right up your alley!

Not a good choice because it is a cover. There are no covers on their 2 LP's. Beggin is a cover from their EP from 2017 when they were 16-18 years old. Not a bad cover and live much better than the old studio version, but still not their own so not a good choice to get to know them. Although this 4 years old song is now very popular in USA and that's why they are playing it a lot.
