What you said for the very first pause tells me just how you truly understand music. It’s never about how the music is produced; has nothing to do with genre. All of the boxes we put things in ultimately comes down to what you said beautifully.

Something that really hit me while watching/listening to this video for the first time is that I LOVE the shots of the band and how the camera captures the blue sky. Something about that shot and then the soaring opening vocals and his style of singing. And then contrasted with just before the breakdown where his voice sounds like it’s kinda underwater and there is rain/water on their faces to match thay

Man Thornhill was recommended to me by a friend and quickly became one of my all time favorites. These kids are so incredibly talented and the best part is that they actually started releasing very good music when they were literally children. The EP 13 and the song Tunnel Vision to this day is one of the most powerful things I’ve heard from them and to my knowledge no one has reacted to it on KZbin. Reptile is such an awesome and FUN song by them that I know will find it’s way into your reviews in the future and I’m already pumped for it. Thanks for the content!

I finally gave this album a listen about a week ago and immediately fell in love. Doesn't happen all that often. I absolutely need to see Thornhill live - they're from my partner's hometown and when the pandemic finally lets us cross international borders, I'll be on the lookout for a show. Anyway, something from Northlane please! Others have asked for 4D and Talking Heads, but I'll throw Bloodline into the mix too.

But not being a musician myself it's hard for me to fully understand what it is about the music that's really hitting home, so this is a really nice insight into a musicians observation of a song that become one of my favourite songs at the moment, I have it on repeat and it's nice to know other feel the same. This made my day seeing you react to this song. I’ve seen a lot of comments talking about the beauty of this bands songwriting and the journey it takes you on. 2 years after its release I still listen to this album start to finish damn near every day. I give them credit for really being the first band that made me appreciate the beauty and complexity of the music in this genre. The first time I heard this song I actually teared up towards the end of it, which had never happened to me from a song before. Easily the most listened to album of all time for me. I really think you’d like their song “The Haze” which is also on the album “The Dark Pool”.

There's a young band from Southampton, UK, that I'm sure you'd love: Creeper. They make a very special blend of music somewhere between Punk Rock, Emo like My Chemical Romance, and a dramatic, even Vaudeville delivery and aesthetic. Fantastic live band, too. They just released their new single "Midnight", which perfectly shows off their musicality and capabilities of their two vocalists Will and Hannah. Piano forward verse, huge chorus, memorable lyrics. I've been a fan since the first EP and it's about time they finally get the recognition they deserve.

Life is busy and it's hard to take time to appreciate all the good music out there, but I really hope David and y'all can take the time to check out this entire album. I wouldn't say it's all reaction-worthy, because the album is a continuous experience. Case in point, even this music video includes about 30 seconds of the prior song (Netherplace) because the songs build into each other. No song is complete without the album around it.
