Nice one... A little hint: You can make the ADSR more snappy for percussion sounds. Just press "Sound Edit" and the "Mono/Poly Button"... there you can adjust Attack/Decay/Release to "percussive" :-) ... love this thing for "groove shadows" :-)

Best minifreak review on the tube so far
@ciaofabiociao Жыл бұрын
There are many reviews on the minifreak but this is the most useful on all of KZbin because it really talks about the sensation, the feedback, the quality of the "basic" sounds, it was very useful to me. I'll get a Korg Minilogue xD :D
@halcyøndrøne10 ай бұрын
thats funny, I sold my xD for the minifreak. both great synths, the xD sounds amazing of course, the lack of mod routing is what made me switch
@ciaofabiociao10 ай бұрын
@@halcyøndrøne xd doesn't have a routing, few possibilities of editing, very old software, it doesn't have aftertouch, etc. I choose it just because sounds "real" and very warm, to me. The Minifreak technically is a better machine with much more possibilities, it depends on what you're searching for. Have fun with it! 😃

This is a very underrated synth, it has mini keys that many complain about. Given that it now becomes a portable device, it's a great keybed imo, i have a KSP and the keybed is fine. Everything else on this synth is a massive bonus, sequencer, arp, spice n dice, multiple engines etc etc etc.
@sub-jec-tiv2 жыл бұрын
Yeah arp & sequencer is best i have ever seen in the whole history of quick sequencers on synths. The 101 was a real champ for ages, but this one has the great creative sci fi features. Amazing.
@agenticdevices2 жыл бұрын
I have to agree. Every part of this synth is really well thought out and designed. I just sold a UDO Super 6 and I was worried that it was gonna be big shoes to fill but this little synth really holds it down. TBH this thing, with no manual even initially released was far less buggy and "complete" than the Super 6 when I first got it (and even now.... firmware updates were few and far between). Obviously the S6 is an amazing synth so i'm not totally knocking it but for the money the MiniFreak really is a bargain.
@DankePlace2 жыл бұрын
@@agenticdevices I think UDO's biggest let down was the lack of screen, not being able to see modulation routing can be counter productive, bit of hit and miss. Still sounds great yet still has its buts. Mini's UI is one of the most intuitive I have come across and for the money, even the keys don't even make this as a complaint.
